Location is absolutely amazing. Communication was A1 all the way.
Here are the reasons I am not giving 5 stars :
Ants at the beginning and the end of the trip (a product was there to prevent the infestation)
Showers were clogged up (a product was also available but we had to buy more)
No extra toilet paper nor trash bags (a little inconvenient)
One the A/C unit was leaking (minor issue since there are 7 units in the house)
The owners were understanding of most of these issues and offered a compensation.
All in all, a very nice house for two families. Very confortable. 8 minutes from Luz and 15 from Lagos. Would recommand.

Très facile d'accès en auto, et stationnement facile. Nous avons adoré notre séjour!

Belle propriété
Publié le 20 août 2022 sur HomeAwayBelle maison avec une vue exceptionnelle. On déploiera simplement le surtout systématique demandé pour la clim, pour le chauffage de la piscine. Un volet roulant était défectueux, malgré la promesse d'intervention personne n'est venu. On aurait aussi apprécié d'être informé préalablement de l'arrivée du jardinier ou du pisciniste. Bizarre de se retrouver face à un inconnu sansavoir été prévenu. Pour autant, l'appréciation générale est bonne. Cela vaut un 4,6 sur 5.

Thank you so much for taking the time to submit a review of our family home. We're delighted you had such a great time. My sincere apologies the shutter was not fixed when you were there. We fed that back to our management team immediately upon you reporting it and we are very disappointed they didn't follow up as required. Please be assured this will be followed up with our management company.
In respect of the gardeners and pool cleaners, we aim to uphold the highest of standards which is that both will be there weekly. We sincerely apologise that you felt like this was an imposition but we do find that most guests find the need to service the pool and maintain the garden a key element of our high service. We hope the maintenance of the villa didn't cause you too much inconvenience. We generally hope the villa is well maintained for our guests at all times. We'd be delighted to have you stay again in the future.

Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayCasa Bonita is a firm favourite and we have stayed here many times. The location is about as peaceful as you can get and the view is stunning. The pool is large enough for a proper swim and enjoyably warm. The villa is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable as is the lounge and outside seating.
Luz is a short car journey away and has two good supermarkets and myriad little shops, cafes, ice cream parlours, pubs and restaurants.
We also had fantastic weather which is always welcome. Unfortunately our host has no control over this element but Portugal has been a reliable place for us since we first came here.

Great View
Publié le 30 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enoued the spacious villa. Our kids all had a room/bathroom each. The rear of the villa offers plenty of privacy with shade and of course that great view. We visited Luz and Burgau for the beach, both very close (walkable but we used the car).

Idyllic
Publié le 30 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have stayed at Casa Bonita many times over the years. It is always spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The poll is large enough for a proper swim and the views are to die for.
The small town of Luz is a short drive or a 30 minutes walk away. The two supermarkets, Baptista and Spa have everything you are likely to need. There are several nice resturants, Jacaranda and Latitude for example and Cafe Bombordo which serves an amazing array of meals and drinks all prepared freshly and to order.
We are booked again for later in the year. It's that good.
