Très bon accueil de la part de Gino et Rosa. Très propre et convivial. Très bon emplacement proche des services, restaurants et de plages. Je recommande fortement cet hébergement.

Une semaine au paradis

Nous avons reçus un très bel accueil de Gino dès notre arrivée à l’aéroport où il est venue nous récupérer. Arrivé à la Guest House nous avons une le droit de la visite du site . Ce situant dans le centre historique de Olhao avec un charme et atmosphère chaleureuse. Équipement parfait, le logement était impeccable propre. Même des bons produits tel que Rituals pour la salle de bain. Chaque matin un petit déjeuné absolument royal nous était préparé à l’heure demandé la veille par Rosé qui est rayonnante et pleins de bienveillance. Un vue magnifique nous attendait sur les deux toits terrasses de la Guest House . Le première phrase de Gino en arrivant au logement avait été « bienvenue à la maison » et bien en plus de la qualité d’un hôtel, nous avons eu ce sentiment d’être chez un membre de la famille comme chez un tonton et une tata . Vraiment au top, on sait régalé.

Vanskelig å anbefale

Vi hadde bestilt et 3 ukers opphold på Zenith Guest House i februar 2024. Vi var veldig spent på hva ville få da vi etter bestillingen oppdaget at vi var tildelt et eget hus, visstnok på 80m2. Vi ble møtt på togstasjonen av en serviceinnstilt og hyggelig hotelleier. Fasaden på huset skilte seg også positiv ut i en litt grå gate midt i gamlebyen. Så langt var vi godt fornøyde. Dog likte vi ikke at vi måtte vaske sengetøyet selv. Dårlig tegn at man ikke en gang har ekstra sengetøy liggende. Etter å ha flyttet inn, viste det seg at flesteparten av de bildene som var i annonsen måtte tilhøre andre hus eller rom. Det burde vi selvfølgelig ha sjekket bedre før vi bestilte. Vi ble skuffet da vi så at soverommet og kjøkken var samme rom, det var umulig å se fra bildene. Videre lå det lå igjen brukte tannkremtuber og shampo fra tidligere gjester. Møblene på takterrassen var mugne og lite innbydende ut, i motsetning til det flotte bildet fra annonsen. Merkelig at eieren ikke bruker noen kroner på vedlikehold og utskifting av møbler når man først markedsfører seg med havutsikt, ref også ytterdør til takterasse som hadde glipe på ca en cm. Etter å ha fryst i et kaldt og fuktig hus, gav vi helt opp etter 3. natt da det dryppet vann fra taket på 2 steder soverommet. Vi tapte over kr 10 000, men nyttig erfaring. Kanskje greit nok om sommeren, men frarådes å bo her om vinteren og i regnfulle tider.

dear erik jan , you did not stay with us you canceled your reservation ! you booked a house not a room with hotel . com!! we are not having any contract with hotel . com , they use our old listing !! book with booking or expedia direct , hotel com is mixing all our listings and confuse the guests !! we have on other platforms , 8-9/10 average review !! and are super hosts on our platform , no surprises by this platforms they know what they book , regret

thanks always welcome , for ones a nice guest from hotels com , we don't have any agreement with hotels only with expedia and lots of time guest from expedia don't show due we never ask advance payement

Fantastic little place to stay, highly recommended

This property was absolutely lovely. We booked late on our night of arrival, past 11pm, and the owner, Gino, was waiting for us when we got there. Our room was cozy, and comfortable, but the star of the show were the three private balconies outside. Overlooking the sea, with a great view, glorious sunshine and comfortable sofas, it was the perfect way to end an evening, and start the day. Speaking of starting the day, Gino’s wife Rose provides a fresh breakfast in the morning you can take in the balconies, full of fresh fruit, yoghurt, breads, meats and cheeses, along with tea and coffee and the best orange juice you will have ever tried! All in all, it’s a fantastic place to stay, and brilliant value for money. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in the area, you won’t be disappointed!

A SCAM! Do not book this hotel/apartment. The pictures online ARE NOT what you will receive. They will deceive you and scam you. We were due to come for a birthday and I asked if they could add extras. They charged me €30 for a cake and balloons and a cheap bottle of kids fizz. It was horrendous. They booked our apartment to another guest and told us we would be in a different place. We paid not knowing what we would receive. We arrived at the accommodation and there aren’t even photos of the place we were given online because of how terrible it is. The wallpaper was ripping off the walls, the kitchen was dirty, it was freezing cold even with windows closed and heating on; the beds were uncomfortable, it was dark and dingy and next to a café full of drunk men starting fights. The locks were not secure, the area was extremely difficult to park and load/unload luggage. When we told them we were not happy and would like to leave they promised a full refund, I sent my details and no refund. Now they are refusing to refund me at all. I didn’t even stay one night because I left and found a much nicer accommodation in a better location for the same price. I would STAY FAR AWAY from this hotel. A scam and you will not be treated with the level of service you expect. Disgusting service and attitude. He kept telling us to just wait and it was our fault for purchasing an apartment built on top of water? False advertisement and you’ll end up with a case with trading standards.

What can we say or do we really need to waste time to reply to your review , you just make this bad review due you didn’t like the old town and Olhao , you were way to fancy fir this charming town , you booked stayed used the house for 50/night for 3 pers ! you asked to make a little present for your daughter or sister 13years , 30 for decoration a cake and 2 bottles of bubbels , for 30 we can’t serve moet chandon ! and for 50 you have a private house 3 rooms 1 bathroom . terace parking , wifi tv etc … you are just guests who should not travel but stay at home and enjoy home , traveling is already cheap but for 100 for 2 nights you got good service , once in a while we have people like you never happy and you want to travel complete free after you harassed us to give bad review if we not refund you ! regret we have plenty of happy guests and are 90% fully booked all year , thanks
