Excellent place in Alice Springs
Publié le 28 oct. 2017 sur WotifI stayed in a studio which was very spacious and comfortable. It has all modern amenities. Communal areas are great! I specially liked the artwork in the rooms and outside. Overall fantastic place.

Emplacement : The location in Braitling is close to the walking tracks, and if the weather is not too hot, it is an easy walk to the shops.
The upgraded accomodation was great.so much room.the pool was a great relief from the heat, it felt like stepping into a warm bath.we will definitely stay there again, possibly in the Studio apartment.

Sanctuary in the Desert

Publié le 10 juill. 2016 sur HotelsWe (5 of us) stayed in Vatu Sanctuary for (VC) 3 nights starting 6/7/2016. I was so busy enjoying myself in Ayers Rock that I have forgotten to call Colin to arranging the check-in. Colin couldn't call me as I didn't leave him a phone number. Colin, who has left me a e-mail that I didn't read, gracefully accepted my apologies and promptly orangised our check-in. He even left us a fruit basket! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in VC. The rooms were clean, aptly furnished. The air conditioners worked perfectly, not to mention the wifi, pool, BBQ, patio etc. What we enjoyed most is the kitchen where we have a lot of fun in preparing and cooking our dinners. We did try our very best to return the kitchen to its original sparking condition. Vatu Sanctuary is no doubt the best value for money accommodation we have experienced in the past 3 weeks in Australia.

Peace and beauty with all home comforts

Pour : The choice of dining areas and the marvellous kitchen and there is a supermarket in walking distance
Contre : An additional toilet in the laundry would be a boon with 6 [eople when staying at the Pond.
Emplacement : The house and studios are in a quiet suburban area, a few minutes from the centre of Alice Springs. A car provides flexibility.
The garden is miraculous and full of roses when we visited. The Pond had three gardens from which to choose, all different, all beautiful. The fountains were particularly welcome.
The kitchen was a cook's delight with a supply of herbs, spices and olive oil as well as loose leaf tea and real coffee.
Art work throughout the house ( much of it for sale) added a personal touch. Colin the manager is a gem and on hand to help with every situation.

Thank you Gaye for your kind review. We take on board the need for an additional toilet (in fact we are looking at it down the track) along with other works. Each year we do improvements to the apartments and gardens because we love to provide a tranquil welcoming environment for our guests. I am glad you enjoyed the artwork, as later this year we are introducing our new in-house art catalogues, providing more information about the artists and their works hanging in the apartments - and as you have said, 'all for sale'. Fantastic place to stay
Owners are all to eager to help and provided us with complimentary welcome packs there were not just a bottle of wine and a mint on your pillow
if you stop in Alice springs this is THE place to stay

A hidden oasis in Alice Springs

Emplacement : Close to the centre of Alice Springs. I visit for business but often hear from tourists they wish they'd stayed longer as there's so much to do.
Could not fault the Vatu Sanctuary. Stayed five days in the studio, which was therapy in itself. The staff are thoughtful and helpful and the units have every single thing you could possibly need. And that's before you get to the amazing atmosphere, art, furnishings and convenience. Don't now if I should let others in on this secret!
