I can see the sunset from the patio of your room. The room was clean and warm, however the bathroom was a little old. Breakfast was delicious, and service was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful location, friendly staff. Great views and lovely birds singing. The walls are very thin, we could hear the water running when the neighbors showered or bathed and used their jacuzzi tub - it was very noisy. Our shower/tub could use a curtain as the water sprayed all over the bathroom and the floor got super wet. The breakfast choices were extensive (if you are Chinese) we basically had some toast and peanut butter and jelly. Lots of steep stairs to climb up and down to the parking area, the hotel used a small car to transport our bags down to the bedroom.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel that caters mostly to local tour groups. Our room on the top level of Building C (#321) was clean and well maintained, with an amazing view of the valley below. The staff was friendly and helpful but spoke limited English. The hotel offers complimentary Taiwanese style breakfast and a low cost hotpot dinner.
The property is located along the Fushan Trail, with a sunrise observation platform within 20 minute walk from the hotel. This is not the popular Zhushan sunrise observation platform in the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, but the view is still nice and is less crowded. The Alishan National Forest Recreation Area is a 40-min drive from the hotel so one needs a car (or be part of a tour group) to visit the main attraction.
The hotel is built on a steep slope so it will be challenging for the elderly who cannot handle lots of steps (no elevator on site).
The hotel restaurant serves the same breakfast and hotpot dinner everyday, so one needs to drive 15 mins or so to the nearby town for restaurants with more choices.
One quirky policy of the hotel is that they do not provide hot water between 11 am and 4 pm (between check out time and check in time), which is not convenient for those who stay at the hotel for more than one day.
To accommodate those who do not read Chinese, the hotel should have English signage to direct the drivers to the property. Providing in-room safe will also be very helpful to international travelers.

B&B nestled in the hill country 30 minutes from Alishan National Park/visitor area. We were upgraded to a room with a view and two King’s beds. The staffs are very courteous, helpful, and engaging, make the guests feel at home. The facility is well maintained. No pest intrusion into the cabin. A 20 min walk/hike to see Alishan sunrise.(level is moderate)

The setting and view were very nice; however, the bathroom was really outdated. The breakfast had a good selection, but the taste was average. The sunrise and trail were pretty, given the overall value, I would not stay there again.
