Mountain View
Publié le 8 oct. 2024 sur HomeAway This property was exactly what we needed. Cabin has a wonderful view of snowcap mountains. Neighborhood was very quiet and we even saw deer and moose during our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in all this surroundings. We would definitely stay there again.

Canceled without telling us
Publié le 19 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe actually never got to stay at this property as our reservation was canceled without anyone notifying us. I had originally made this reservation months in advance, and when I went to view the listing to find out more details about the property I noticed the listing was no longer active. I had to reach out to the property management company (Evolve) myself to inquire if our reservation was still in place, and they ultimately confirmed the owner had removed the listing and my reservation was no longer in existence. This left me with just one month to find another available property for the 4th of July holiday. I can only imagine what would have happened had I not discovered this issue on my own. The team at Evolve offered me no assistance in finding a different property. I will be avoiding all properties managed by them in the future.

Snowy Mountain Getaway
Publié le 29 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a very cozy cabin in the mountains. There was close to four feet of snow on the deck when we were there during March for Spring Break. It is pet friendly (with a small fee) which was a plus for us! The rug in front of the fireplace had not been vacuumed when we arrived and there were other similar cleaniness concerns, but nothing huge. It is a cabin the mountains! Our only caution would be if you are a group of four and stay multiple days, you may run out of well water if you shower daily, run the dishwasher and need to wash a load of laundry. We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again!!!

nice cabin in the woods
Publié le 19 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWell designed cabin in the woods. I have a cabin in Canada with the same outside dimensions. I liked the layout so much I want to finish ours the same way. This cabin had a cozy feel. The only suggestion would be to have better instructions on how to use the TV. Luckily we brought a fire stick and were able to watch the Super bowl on the stick. We also liked having the use of several condiments. Most VRBO's have an empty refrigerator. Thank you for letting us rent your property.

Great location & well appointed cabin

The house was clean, spacious, and the host provided all the essentials plus the extras to make it like home.

Perfect base camp for outdoor activities
Publié le 8 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayI came to Alma to knock off some more 14ers and fell in love with the town and area. It’s a very small town but the people are very friendly and you’ll get to know the locals pretty fast if you spend any time around town. The cabin is off a dirt/gravel road with lots of wildlife surrounding it. I saw a fox every day and a moose family just down the road. Temps were just starting to drop while I was there and the cabin stayed nice and warm. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking and lots of extras (spices, coffee, etc.). Unfortunately, I became sick while there so my hiking plans didn’t quite pan out but I was grateful to have such a great place to stay while under the weather. I reached out to the owner the day of departure to explain that I was really sick and didn’t have another place available until later that afternoon and since no one was checking in that day, he kindly allowed me to stay until I was able check in to the next place I had booked. I greatly appreciated this since I was alone and would have had to just find somewhere to lay down in my rental until my next check in.
If you like small quirky towns, being away from all the noise and beautiful views, don’t hesitate to book this cabin. I hope to return soon.

Great Space
Publié le 15 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog who had a blast for a very reasonable dog fee. There was a lovely walking trail along a creek at the bottom of Peterson.
The place itself was very clean with tons of extra blankets and pillows. We had a couple of really fun family game nights using the board games while a fire crackled in the fireplace. Theres was plenty of firewood. Kitchen was perfect with everything we needed. Our kiddo loved the loft complete with some toys.
Internet could be a little on the slow side but i had no issue streaming live shows including Youtube TV and netflix. I imagine zoom calls would likely be no issue.
Easy access to Breck and Alma.
We loved out stay. Already went to VRBO to check if we can rent it again.
