Good location and easy parking
Publié le 11 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayLovely little cottage. Had everything one needed, especially in the kitchen. Appliances easy to operate. Very comprehensive folder about the cottage and area. Appreciated the many suggestions. Nice courtyard garden,
to enjoy the many goodies in the welcome back. Older, or people with mobility issues might find the three steps up to front door tricky. However, there are handrails.

Excellent comfortable well-located property
Publié le 1 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayA well equipped comfortable apartment, well located opposite the entrance to Alnwick Castle. The sitting out area at the back gets the sun for much of the day. Guest permit parking is available nearby and a place is usually free within 50 metres of the property. A large Morrisons supermarket and smaller Nisa are within walking distance. We would stay there again if we were visiting Northumberland in the future.

Delightful and interest base from which to explore this beautiful area
Publié le 9 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayVery comfortable and well equipped flat with a welcome garden and easy parking. We loved being in the centre of Alnwick and an short walk to all of the main attractions. Alnwick made a good base to explore the beautiful coast and interesting towns and properties.

Home from home, ideally located

Ahead of arrival we received a very detailed and thorough information pack covering both the property and places to visit. We arrived to find a very generous welcome pack and a wonderful comfortable apartment with everything we needed for our holiday.
The outside space was a bonus and we enjoyed sitting outside after a day exploring.
The property is ideally located and a few minutes walk from the centre of Alnwick. It is also close to the coast with lots of beautiful beaches within 20 to 30 minutes by car.
We would definitely recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay here again when we next visit Northumberland.

Stay in Alnwick - Barbican View

Brilliant location, easy parking just a few yards away, right next to Alnwick Castle and all the charm of Alnwick and the surrounding area close by. The apartment more than met our expectations, was clean and the lovely small touches that Lynn put in place were very much appreciated, as was the food hamper waiting on arrival. I can highly recommend!

Perfect place
Publié le 22 juin 2019 sur HomeAwayEverything about the flat was perfect. It was very comfortable, clean, warm and beautifully finished. The position was ideal, being opposite the castle and within only a couple of minutes walk into the centre of Alnwick. The extra touches of a plate of hoemmade scone, jam and butter awaiting us on arrival and a very generous welcome box , were also very much appreciated. We will stay again.
