Short Stay in a Beautiful Place

Lynne was really helpful in making sure our stay was comfy .
I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a great apartment. It was super clean, well furnished, the bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed (and more). The apartment has lots of light, as well as lovely room darkening curtains. The rooms are spacious. The parking is very convenient. The washing machine was useful, as we were there for a week. It is conveniently located in Alnwick. We walked to the grocery store and to restaurants and shops. There is a fantastic Guest Book that Lynn has put together with lots of great information. There are also a ton of tourist brochures for area sights. It was all very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Lynn, for a wonderful visit.

A wonderful mid-Covid break
Publié le 12 août 2020 sur HomeAwayWe loved Castle Retreat for a wonderful few days discovering Northumberland. Very well situated within Alnwick and for both coast and inland, it is clean, smart, well appointed and generally comfortable.
The communication is excellent and the welcome very warm (lovely and generous welcome tray; comprehensive manual with lots of local info; countless books and maps; and a book of suggestions from previous visitors).

Amazing apartment !

It has everything you could possibly need for your comfort..like home from home. It is tastefully furnished, has a well equipped kitchen and the yummy Welcome Tray was so nice. It is easy dealing with Lynn, the owner, she always gets back to you straight away and answers any queries you may have. Thoroughly recommend.

A lovely flat in a period house

The flat was spotless and very nicely decorated. It was comfortable and well equipped although a potato peeler might be a useful addition.
It is well situated for all the amenities in Alnwick and surrounding area and the parking is very convenient. There is loads of information available for the guests.
As we live rurally, the street noise was noticeable to us but we quickly got used to it and the flat is in a town so this is to be expected.
I would and have already recommended this property to others.
