Stone Cottage In Peaceful Northumberland Village.
Stone Cottage In Peaceful Northumberland Village. This is a cosy two bedroomed cottage, located in the desirable village of Rennington. The cottage offers modern day practicality whilst retaining many of its original features. The village has a welcoming pub, which offers a good selection of meals. The town of Alnwick is a ten minute drive away, which has a number of supermarkets and the usual local amenities.
The cottage is peaceful and comfortable. It is well located for a lot of local attractions and is very handy for the pub! Tony and Angela made sure I was OK and had everything I needed. I appreciated the lovely welcome treats.
Great location to explore this area of Northumberland. Cottage was spacious for the two of us, very quiet and clean. All facilities were excellent, and Tony and Angela responded promptly and positively to any question.
Wonderful cottage, warm and inviting. Provisions left by the owner were very much appreciated after a long drive and challenges with the hire car.
We would highly recommend this property for anyone wishing for a peaceful spot in Northumberland
.
The listing for this property was accurate - it is in a very small village, and was very quiet and comfortable. The host had left treats for us on arrival, which were very welcome -touches like fresh flowers meant it felt like we were valued guests. It was also very helpful - we'd forgotten to pick up any milk etc on the way, and no shops in the village meant we would have had to go back in the car. It's a lovely area, easy to get to Alnwick, Bamburgh, Craster and other great places to visit. You do however need a car - as mentioned on the listing.
Pre-arrival communication was great, very clear instructions, so no problems getting access to this lovely, relaxing cottage. We really enjoyed our stay here - Thanks!
This was a lovely, cosy cottage perfectly situated to explore countryside and coast. It had everything we needed with the benefit of a lovely cottage garden where we enjoyed the sunshine after a day out. The hosts were great and provided lots of information about the local area and the cottage was set up for all of your self catering needs. We had a fantastic stay and just fell in love with the area. Would definitely return and would to recommend to others.
Lovely clean and cozy cottage in a great spot to explore the nearby beaches and seaside villages. Many attractions to visit and a nice pub across the road for good food.
We had a beautiful stay.
Pleasant quiet cottage in a fabulous location for enjoying the Northumberland coast.
Good comms with Tony and directions were spot on.
The cottage is lighter than the photos suggest and whilst recognising beds are very personal this one did have a bit of a sag in the middle.
Overall facilities were good and welcome treat was appreciated after the drive.
The cottage was excellent, lovely and clean and decorated to a high standard, all instructions are provided before stay and in the cottage Very pleased of the owners gestures when we arrived. All round lovely stay

Lovely cottage. 2 nd time here. Great position in quiet village with local pub nearby. Has well kept garden to sit out in. . Ideal for exploring beautiful coastal villages. Good for birds, walking , trips to Lindisfarne. We enjoyed our holiday very much.
Lovely little cottage in a very quiet and picturesque village (with a great pub. Huge portions!) The cottage was great for the three of us and the welcome gifts were lovely and very thoughtful! We loved our stay and will definitely be back.
Lovely cottage in a very nice village, and a great base for the Northumberland Coast and Alnwick. Cottage is very welcoming on arrival, and treats of wine and cake are a very nice touch.
The property is located in a quiet village with just a pub and a church in amongst a small but thriving and well kempt village. There are one or two walks to be had which are peaceful and relaxing. the overall ambience of both the cottage and its location is well suited for a relaxing time. Across the road is an excellent pub with friendly staff and wonderful food. The whole village seems to be full of people who are both warm and friendly. We were fortunate enough to be going the day the scarecrow festival started which was fun to encounter on the August bank holiday weekend
Flawless stay in a well appointed cottage in the friendly village. All aspects of the stay well communicated with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine! I will spread the word. Thankyou
Wonderful cottage, very comfortable. We chose to do a walking holiday and it was an excellent base for exploring. Lovely touches like flowers and bottle of wine. Hope to return in future.
The cottage was lovely throughout and had everything that we needed. Lovely quiet village in an excellent location to explore everywhere that we wanted to visit. The pub The Horseshoes was excellent. Definitely stay again!
Beautiful location and such a pretty cottage with a totally tranquil feel. The decor and furnishings are perfect, the rooms well proportioned and even the small second bedroom has a quiet charm. Love this place
