An old building with a modern twist. Located within the heart of Alor Setar Chinatown, it has lots of dinning places and within a short walk to the city centre. The only downside(for us) is the loud live band music from the pub nearby(Terrace 48) which will go on till 12-12.30am :)

Interesting property with great service from receptionist. cost much more when book thru Expedia, take note no escalator.

Comfy stay, piece of gem
Publié le 19 mars 2020 sur HotelsI was checking on the first day of the movement control order of the Covid 19 and despite of the changing situation, the receptionist and staffs were being very helpful and understanding.
The whole town was quiet at night due to the MCO but I was enjoying a quiet time in the room with diffuser and a cool TV box

If you’re looking to have a quiet night in, this isn’t the place for you. The music thumping and people screaming from the bar nearby goes on until 3/4 am. We were there over the holidays, there were a few families whose kids were running around in their rooms and hallways until 4 am and from early morning, screaming and shouting, even though there are noise rules after 11 pm. No staff at hand, only when we checked in and checked out, and it would have been nice to get a notice to say that there would be no housekeeping on the day of the holiday itself.
I wanted to like this place, booked it months ahead, raved to everyone about it, but was so utterly disappointed. It’s a nice touch but don’t need the free drinks and snacks, and the ‘instagrammability’ if we can’t get a good night rest, would never stay here again.

We feel terribly regret for your bad experience with us. And shall look into every comments and improve accordingly. Especially the sound issue from the next door bar and the fish pond waterfall sound that you and other of your guests commented. Thank you once again for staying with us. Take Care.
