My needs were well met.
Publié le 26 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was reasonably clean. Nobody bothered me. The bed was comfortable. There was no negative smell. I did not see any signs of insect or rodent infestation. The fridge and heating/ac unit worked well.The only reason I wouldn't stay there again is because it's further from the park than I realized.Otherwise, for the money, I could not ask for more.

It was clean; the kitchen was furnished with a good coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator, as well as cutlery and dishes. Very comfortable; I slept better there than at home. communication was very good with the owner. It's a bit tricky to find so watch the house numbers. The night sky here was amazing. Would love to go back,,.

Great location to star gaze and communicate

The wifi worked perfectly so we were able to listen to our music of choice. In final, we will be planning a future stay.

This tiny dwelling was exactly what we needed. Our children play football at the local university, and we drove into Alpine to watch the game and hang out. This small cabin was laid out well and quite comfortable. The bedding smelled freshly washed, and the furniture was inviting. We will definitely continue to book this cabin for future trips.

Convenient but bugs
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayConvenient location to McDonald Observatory (50 mins) but there were bugs under the pillows and around the unit. We didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed but we arrived too late in the day to drive around and find somewhere else to stay. Property is at the end of a dirt road but still felt secure. Easy keypad to access unit.

Good location but needs a good cleaning

The location is great for someone who needs to walk a dog. The owner made check in very easy. However, the bathroom floor and shower were not clean. (We wore our shoes) The microwave had to be moved and the top of it and the fridge were filthy. It was dirty behind the trash and in the corners of the room. The sheets and bedding didn't seem clean. We gave this place a 4 anyway because there were so many other good things. If this place had a good cleaning it would be fantastic. :)
