Hi Elsy, We do advise all guests to make reservations on the ferry and are unfortunately unable to provide room refunds when guests do not make it to the island because they failed to make those reservations. Being on an island does make things difficult, but it also adds immensely to the charm of the location.Nonetheless, we are very sorry you missed staying at our wonderful farm, and that things turned out this way.Sincerely, Hanna

Finca Ometepe is tucked up against the Volcano Madera about 2km past the town of Balgue. They have many fruit trees, fresh eggs, and even homemade goat cheese when we stayed there. The casita kitchen is well equipped. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay here.

Property was absolutely great!!! Very clean the staff was simply awesome!!! If you want to get away from it all this is the place to stay, many fruit trees all around with a beautiful view!!!

Unique flowers and shrubs, trees,
birds and butterflies. Very nice and discreet staff. Playful dogs.
House is stangely designed but large and perfect for family of 5.
Should not have to pay extra for drinking water.

Hello! Thank you for your review! I am glad you enjoyed our home, our pets, and our wonderful ranch hands :)
I apologize about the water. We will change that rule. We only started doing this when we had a couple of guests completely empty the 10 gallon jug every day (and we have to drive all the way into Moyagalpa to refill, so there is a significant cost for us). That said, we will relax that rule.

Publié le 3 sept. 2019 sur HotelsWe arrived a bit early, but the Crew at the hotel took good Care of us. They helped us with resevations of bikes and tours. We had a very good stay at Finca Ometempe.
