Stunning View on Campau Lake
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhile this property was in a great location being on the lakeside with gorgeous western view; the overall cleanliness of the property could be improved. Situated on Campau Lake near Alto, Michigan, this 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage while dated is a nice stay. There are no stores nearby, so it is a drive into Lowell, Ada and Grand Rapids. The lake view is stunning from the large deck facing the lake. Check in was at 4:00pm and we were about 28 minutes early. The owner of the cottage does like to be available and would like check in to be right at 4:00pm. There were two sets of sliders that would benefit from having screens to capture the nice breezes we experienced. The appliances in the cottage are very dated but working. The rooms are large and airy and there was new vinyl plank flooring in the kitchen and living areas. There is more that could be done to improve this cottage such as a Welcome sign, a list of stores in the nearby area and possibly even nearby attractions. There is a walking trail near the property. Boating is available and from the number of fisherman we saw during our stay the lake appears to be great fishing as well. Overall our stay was good as we were attending a wedding in the nearby area, but more attention to the details would make this cottage a 5 star.

Convenient and relaxing
