Great for family holiday vacation
Publié le 6 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful week-long stay at this beautiful cabin in Alto, NM, over Thanksgiving. The house itself is stunning, nestled in a friendly neighborhood with easy access to Ruidoso and the surrounding attractions. We enjoyed exploring the nearby lakes, trails, and shopping venues, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
However, we were a bit disappointed with the understocking of necessities like toilet paper, dishwashing and clothes washing pods, and paper towels. Thankfully, the proximity to local stores made it easy to pick up what we needed. Management was very helpful prior to arrival.
The only issue we had was we tried to reach out to the management about getting more of these supplies but did not hear back. Understandable though, being it was the day before Thanksgiving.
Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this cabin for its location and charm. We will certainly consider staying here again.

Fantastic back porch

Publié le 20 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery peaceful neighborhood only saw one older gentleman during our whole day and he was very kind. We got four fresh inches of snow while we were there and the kids enjoyed sledding down the road of the neighborhood.

They finally did a 30 minute clean and we got in and the house was extremely dirty, dust everywhere cob webs all in the celling and other places, pubic hairs in the bathtub and shower it looked like the house had not been deep cleaned in a very long time and property management took 4 days to finally get back with us and still did nothing. I wander if the property owner has any idea how dirty there house was and property management not doing there job keeping it clean.

We were extremely busy during this time frame and were running behind, yes. However, our housekeeping inspector made sure to get to the home and start the clean clean prior to your arrival at 3:00 PM (check in is at 4:00). She and the housekeeper did what they could to make sure the home was as clean as it could be with the hour that was left before check in (even though the housekeeper went over by a bit). We've looked through all of our emails and correspondence and do not see any communication from you regarding this. Because we are seeing this review now, without prior communication from you, we have gone ahead and refunded the cleaning fee for your stay.
