Boating and swimming
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee
The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion.
The motel is in a pine grove and is lake front. It's "!old school " feel reminds of my childhood. It's clean and quite, but no thrills. Don't expect first class accommodations but if you like the feel of a 60's/70's lakefront motel it's perfect.
We had a small issue with our cabin but Vacasa immediately communicated with us while we were hosting on the lake and fixed it before we returned.
It was out 4th year in a row staying there and plan to return next year.

Nice place on the lake
Publié le 27 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful place right on the lake. Very basic accommodations, we really only slept there. Perfect for what we needed.
I had trouble with the television, couldn’t figure it out. We were trying to watch the Celtics playoff game. Emailed the host I didn’t get a response Until the next day. Ironically, in her email, she said “ Don’t hesitate to reach out “ and she was “available 24/7”. We ended up listening to the game.
Other than that, we had a great stay.

Beautiful Vermont trip

I would suggest instead of the mirror in the kitchen to add some cabinets up above for more storage for pots/pans and dishes. It needs a spatula and maybe a better no stick skillet. We cook alot on our trips. But beside this was a nice clean place.

Found great restaurant in town.
