Had a security deposit I was unaware of and wouldn't let me stay without it.

We checked in went to the room the room had a musty smell to it. We were with a group of people and they experienced the same things. Literally had hookers approaching us outside and one inside, the lady who does laundry was asking for money and cigarettes. Approached outside by couple folks wanting to know if we “needed anything “ obviously talking about drugs. One of our rooms had a needle in the toilet that was found when trying to figure out why the toilet kept running. Condoms on the floor in the room the tub was dirty obviously hasn’t been scrubbed in a while. We stayed at this hotel because we stayed as a group we were on a ride. The fact that you have to have a card to get in the doors to get to the rooms tells me that someone lets these women in and they don’t even try to hide the fact that they are prostitutes approached all of the guys and as soon as the woman came around they would walk away. Would really like money refunded.

Dirty, smelly

Very dirty. Lobby was hot. Room was hot upon arrival. Mold in bathroom around the sink. Tub floor was dirty and shower curtain was dirty stained on the bottom. Hall way smelled like pot. A friends room toilet kept running so we looked in it and found drug needles stuck in it. No I will never stay there again. Front desk person was nice.

The staff was friendly and polite, but the property needs work. There was no coffee in the room. There was an ice bucket, but no drinking glasses. The bathroom was dirty and we just couldn’t bring ourselves to use it even to take a shower.

Alton, IL Super 8 is the Best!!!

Our experience with this Super 8 is always excellent. Every time we come to town we always choose this hotel due to the staff is always so friendly & take excellent care of us. Will continue to come here.
