The staff was incredibly nice while we were there. The beds were comfortable but our non smoking room smelt very much like smoke, the mini fridge was off when we got in the room and the fire alarm went off while we were trying to take a shower because of the steam. The hotel is certainly convenient and good for a quick overnight stay and has a good amount of potential.

Altoona weekend getaway
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HotelsMuch of this hotel has been renovated and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful. Located near People’s Natural Gas Park were we enjoyed a baseball game and near many restaurants and shopping. Room was comfortable and free hot breakfast was good! Would stay again!

Good, somewhat dated, hotel
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HotelsThis is a fine, although dated, hotel. Time warp to the 80s and 90s, folks! I don’t mind since everything works and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is a bit better than what you generally get from this class of hotel. I stop in Altoona a lot and it’s often impossible to find a decent restaurant close to hotels I’ve stayed at. La Fiesta, a good Mexican restaurant, is literally a walk across the parking lot. That’s reason enough for this to be my “go-to” hotel on my next Altoona stops.
