Nice stay, good amenities and staff
Publié le 9 avr. 2018 sur HotelsI enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. The staff is welcoming, breakfast is very nice (waffles!!). I really appreciated the amenities in the room. Restaurants are 5 min walk with some nice possibilities.
The only negative point is the noise insulation between rooms, I could hear everything from my neighbors.

So sorry your neighbors were louder than you'd hoped but next time a quick call down to the Front Desk is all that's needed to gain assistance in passing on a reminder to use inside voices. :) We wish you well and hope to see you again next time you're out our way!

Second time at the property across the street from the office. We're calling it the Not-So-Super 8. It may be one of the best in Alturas, we aim to test this theory next year.

This was the 2nd time for us to stay here this year. Really clean and quiet but the bathrooms are really dated and very few options for breakfast

Bad customer service
Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HotelsThe TV system was not working properly. The front desk clerk can to the room to try to fix it ans could not. Tjhey did not offer us another rom because they said the hotel was full. The paring lot did NOT have that many cars to suggest the hotel was full. They lied to us!

We do our best to exceed your expectations, and your comfort and satisfaction are our top priority.When we say "full" we mean there are reservations we are holding for people that make us 'full', irrespective of when they show up. It is a false assumption on your part to think we've somehow misinformed you because those guests haven't shown up when you checked in.Additionally, not every guest arrives singularly in a motor vehicle. We have many guests that arrive as part of crew - especially our wildland firefighters who arrive with as many as 10 at a time in one vehicle.We have no control over outages from our local cable provider; and when they're out, our entire town is out as well. There is nothing for us to adjust when they are down. Our staff member demonstrated our commitment to your satisfaction as much as possible.We're sorry we were not a good fit for you, but wish you only safe travels wherever you may go.
