This was a short but good comfortable stay for us.
Would help if the following improvements are taken care of:
- Ready availability of hot water
- Wall clock

Hive Hotel Alwar
Publié le 29 avr. 2015 sur HotelsFood is good. A mineral water bottle will cost you Rs76 more than a 5 star hotel. Swimming pool kept dirty. Toilets not well maintained.

New Hotel and need some training...
Publié le 12 févr. 2014 sur Expedia
Pour : View on top floor rooms facing the forest area and mountains is nice. New hotel with new furniture.
Contre : I felt like shifting to Clarks Inn slightly expensive but hospitable and good service. Unfortunately my stay here was prepaid by could get out of this
New hotel and shining furniture ! Rooms are good with required basic amenities. Some rooms have very good view of forests too. I was booked in a Club room but moved in a deluxe room just because of the view. However the front desk staff are cold and clumsy ! Everything needs to be told to them . For instance - the washbasin in the room was leaking. I had to call the front desk atleast 5 times to get this repaired and it was done only the next day. The bathing soap and shower gel were missing. The bedsheets and pillow covers didnt smell and look fresh. The teabags were not replenished the next day. The newspaper they kept outside the room was crushed. Most of these things were only corrected after I met the kind room cleaning responsible person on the floor.
The hotel is slightly outside the main town but close to the Railway Station (4 kms). The rickshaw charge 50 Rs from the railway station. The taxi organised by hotel takes 300 Rs. However after sunset its very difficult to find any rickshaws or "Vahinis" (shared autos) around the hotel. Therefore taxis organised by this hotel could be an expensive deal to go around in the city.
Again a mixed feedback for food - For dinner I had a vegetarian thali which was very good and reasonably priced. They also served some fresh and hot chapatis. Breakfast spread was decent - it had cereals, eggs and papaya. However again the idlis were burnt and parathas tasted old.

Bad experience at this hotel
Publié le 12 févr. 2014 sur Expedia
Pour : nearness to relative's house where the marriage was happening
Contre : transportation means, there are no conveyance(taxi or auto) near the hotel and hotel staff don't care to get one.
unfriendly and uncaring staff, with an arrogant manager with attitude.
there is no 24 hrs running water, and then they waste the hours and make us keep
waiting for it, only to get frustated and shower in the cold water and get moving.
Hotel staff or manager not regretful of it.

A perfect hotel
Publié le 29 janv. 2014 sur Expedia
Pour : The professionalism of the staff ; the excellent food from the restaurant; and the complete experience.
Contre : No, I felt the hotel was excellent.
Emplacement : If you wish to experience a 'real' small town then Alwar is an ideal base for several days. The hotel provides a tempting list of nearby trips.
The Hive was a perfect base for exploring this part of Rajasthan. They prove there is more to do in the Alwar area than many people realise.
The entire staff were helpful.
