Gathered we’re ants on and near the bed when we arrived. Good service and fun New Years fireworks, but not clean

The bathroom was very dirty.
There was no toilet paper.
There was no shampoo.
There was just one soap for cleaning hands and taking bath.
There was no hot water in shower.
No internet in the rooms.
Breakfast 'buffet' was four idlis per person. No tea included.
AC remote did not work.
Just one towel for the whole family.
That's all I remember at this moment.

Pour : Location, cleanliness, outlook, garden.
Contre : More water to room
Emplacement : Close to lake finishing point, boat hire and bus station.
Nice hotel very clean and well appointed in good location near city bus station and canal boats and lake. Only tv so far with lots of choices in English! Nice garden and lawn too.

Shambolic rip-off
Publié le 9 avr. 2016 sur HotelsThis place is run by a group of adolescent boys. They actually do a decent job, but the owners don't trust them to make change (they apparently don't even have petty cash on hand to make change for a water bottle). They cannot issue you with a receipt for anything either. You do wonder about a place that doesn't trust its own employees. Anyway, the problem is with the managers...we slent a night on one of their houseboats. In sum, the hotel is clean and ok for a night but the houseboat should be avoided at all costs. We couldn't see it before booking and that was a big mistake. In addition to being in disrepair it didn't really go anywhere...we were taken out on the lake, but you don't see anything there. Then we were taken to a 'village' which looked suspiciously like a cluster of shops selling overpriced trinkets and shawls. Then the boat docked in the evening directly across from the dock where we had been picked up earlier in the day. To call it a 'tour' would be generous. The final straw was the following day when the hotel arranged a rickshaw for us, and the driver tripled the price.

Great hotel to plan your journey to the backwaters
Publié le 16 mars 2016 sur HotelsWe stayed at Cosy for a couple of nights when we were planning our trip to go on a houseboat in the famous backwaters.
The hotel is perfect for this task.
You live right next to the "finishing point" where all the houseboats dock at the harbour, so you are just a 5 minute walk away from where you meet the people that sell the boatrides. You are allowed on to the boats to inspect them before you decide what boat you want to go with - so you can pick the one that is just right for you.
If you are going on a houseboat trip, this is a great hotel to start your journey.
We found a boat the first day we were out looking and we had a great experience.
