Short Break

The apartment is fab clean warm comfortable with fantastic views over Ambleside.
Getting around is easy with a very good bus service if you are planning a visit to Ambleside this is the place to stay.
Cant wait to return.

A Stunning Property

It was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need.
All the info needed about the property during our stay was clear and at hand.
We found the maps and walks books extremely helpful.
The property is also ideally placed for stunning walks, a few craft shops and eating places without having to use the car!
We would definitely recommend a stay there and will hopefully be returning next year.

Amazing apartment in the heart of Ambleside

Beautiful well stocked kitchen comfy lounge with amazing views and fab balcony to watch the sun set whilst enjoying a glass of wine total relaxation
Underfloor heating in bathroom with powerful shower soft fluffy white towels .
There are books board games dvd etc with a great choice of walks and maps everything you need for a great stay
The whole apartment has been done to high spec cant wait to return

Long weekend winter break
Publié le 30 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThere may be a better venue to stay in this area, but there's no way I would waste another second of my life trying to find it as long as Underhill is available.
It has everything you could possibly want inside the accommodation, together with a few things you didn't know you wanted until you'd stayed there. It's very much a home away from home, with a wonderful location right in the town but high enough up to feel like you are out of town whilst offering a superb panorama from the bedroom and lounge area.
We really couldn't fault it. Like any property, it has a few of its own little idiosyncrasies, which you soon get used to and we were very sad to have to leave when it came time to.
The only note of caution is that the road up to the property is steep in places, as is the short cut into town, so perhaps not suitable for anyone with mobility restrictions.
Would highly recommend.

Lovely Christmas getaway

The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area very comfortable. We had a fantastic break and the hosts could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

Perfect
Publié le 20 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe having been traveling throughout the UK for 6 months, staying at many places, and this apartment was one of our favorites! The apartment has an amazing view that never gets old, reserved parking, a great kitchen and lounge, and a great shower. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in these many months. The balcony is a wonderful bonus. Ambleside is a very pleasant town to explore and call 'home'. It is also ideally situated. Keswick is too far north, Kendal too far south, and Windermere too frenetic. Ambleside is just right! Communication with the owner was great and we simply can't sing the praises of this apartment enough. We highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the Lake District.
