Brilliant hotel in Grasmere
Publié le 11 oct. 2024 sur HotelsAmazing hotel in Grasmere, ideally situated for walks and opposite the bus stop if you want to go to Ambleside, Windermere etc. The hotel is decorated very tastefully. The staff are so helpful and polite. Our bedroom was very comfortable and had amazing views. Loved the welcome gingerbread as you checked in. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Price is very reasonable. Lots of choice for breakfast

A very nice place to stay while hiking the coast to Coast trail. Alex and Jacqueline were wonderful for our check-in and our breakfast in the morning.very personable and friendly. It was such a comfy room that it was a shame we didn't arrive earlier. We had a 16 mile day of hiking so we didn't get there until almost dark! Would highly recommend this as a stop.

Lovely hotel with really nice staff. The only tricky thing was parking. There are only 7 spots for 20+ rooms. We stayed in the Stargazer room which had a lovely view but the curtains weren’t good enough at blocking light overnight. It was also quite warm even when it was only 18-19 degrees outside. There is also an emergency exit light in the room that is incredibly bright. And the door itself lets light in from the hallway. Otherwise, a very nice stay in a great location.

Dear Sherwin,I am sorry to hear that you felt the need to leave a 1 star review despite not actually staying with us. Unfortunately as you cancelled your reservation on the day of arrival we were left with no choice but to charge for the room, which is a standard hotel procedure, and as per our terms and conditions.

Staffs is amazing and very friendly, helpful. Room very clean.
Accept the neighbour upstairs very noisy. Just thin wall in the annex.
Great breakfast.
Dog friendly.
