Welcome to this fully furnished home where you will be close to local shopping, dining, and all that Ames has to offer. This family friendly home features 3 bedrooms, with brand new mattresses, a fully furnished kitchen and movie ready basement! Enjoy your evenings out on the spacious deck that overlooks a large fenced in backyard.

Whether you’re in town to catch a game, for work, to visit friends and family, or just for fun, Cy's Landing offers close proximity to all that Ames has to offer and we would love to be your host!

Many of the best restaurants in Ames are a quick 5-10 minute drive from the house, with Jack Trice and Hilton Coliseum just 2.5 miles away! Stock up on all of the necessities at Hy Vee, less than a mile away.

Host went above and beyond

Through conversation the host learned I was traveling with young children, they then offered much in the way of supplies and saved us so much car space. All the conversation leading up was quick and helpful. We arrived to a generous welcome gift. The house was clean and as advertised. Overall just a great experience.

Grandson's birthday weekend

The house was perfect for our get together. More than enough room for us all. Everything we needed was there and very clean. The location was just up the street from our daughter's apartment and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The little gift for our grandson was perfect and the muffins were a hit as well. CY’s Landing was the perfect getaway for a weekend in Ames. House was very clean and included so many things to hep make our stay enjoyable. We especially loved the backyard deck, gas grill and fire pit. Would definitely recommend it to others.

ISU Family Weekend Visit

We truly enjoyed our stay at Cy’s Landing! From booking to communication Katie was wonderful to work with and very responsive! We were visiting for Iowa State’s Family Weekend. They thought of everything with this house. Having laundry detergent was a nice perk so we were able to do our son’s laundry instead of him having to do it at the dorm. They provided so many “extras” with this house. When we walked in we were even welcomed with fresh muffins and a coffee cake on the table. Thank you again for being wonderful hosts! We plan to stay again in the near future! Go Cyclones!❤️💛

Comfortable home with lots of thoughtful touches

Checking in was a breeze with clear instructions and a simple code. I was warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift of snacks, muffins, and ice cream! The spotless home had comfortable beds, clean and tidy bathrooms with easy access to essentials, and lots of plush bath towels. The shower had great pressure and provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Strong WiFi and convenient charging stations made it easy to stay connected. The kitchen was well-equipped with sharp knives, matching silverware, and a cozy coffee station. The basement was a comfortable retreat with a TV, and even provided a safe space during a tornado warning. Overall, a delightful and comfortable place to stay near downtown Ames and Iowa State campus.

Amazing house in Ames-Has everything you need!

What an amazing gem! This fabulous home in Ames is the perfect place to stay for a couple people or a group. It was perfectly clean, and very well appointed. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one full bathroom, kitchen and living room, and downstairs, a large TV/family room, a third bedroom and a laundry room in the finished basement. The sheets, bedding and pillows (two types of pillows to choose from) were very comfortable. The bath towels were the fluffiest I've had, and there was soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. for us as well. Simple entry code and lock for check-in and easy to get in and out. The area was nice and quiet. It was so nice that we had two TV/gathering/play areas - great for kids downstairs and adults upstairs! I wish the weather was warmer as we could have enjoyed the great patio and backyard.... next time. The kitchen was well stocked - good coffee area, fridge with filtered water and ice. Washer & Dryer was downstairs if we needed to do a quick wash. Overall, we were really, really happy with our choice to stay at Cy's Landing in Ames. What a perfect place for parents weekends, homecoming and other sports and school weekends in Ames! So much better to be together in one house, with a kitchen. Communication with owners was great - they responded right away.
