Cosy up by the fireplace for stimulating conversations, use the dining table for sociable games evenings or take a seat on the reading chair with a good book after a long day in the fresh air.
The large terrace offers you a charming view of the river and the opportunity to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while barbecuing and sunbathing. Take the boat to the riverside, refresh yourself with a swim in the clear water or try your luck at fishing.
Take a stroll to Hillestad Gallery, where you can have a coffee, visit exhibitions and let the children run around in the playground. In the Tovdal valley or in Åmli, start a summit hike on well-signposted trails through unspoilt nature. Drive up to Hillestadheia and explore the many tranquil fishing lakes.
