Lost its charm

Always used to stay here when in Amritsar but the hotel has lost its charm. Service level have dropped, room conditions are not upto standard and worse has to be reception which should be the best but hiring people with more focused on counting money and chit chatting than customer device. Truly sad to see the drop in service and just overall Taj experience you expect from Taj properties Other hotels have surely gained

Worst Hotel

Worst hotel I ever had. Television is not working,hot water kettle is not working,Washroom door doesn’t locked if I tried to close it wasn’t,Fridge is not working.I complained to manager but no action was taken.Thought out the day they didn’t change it.When we came back at 10:00 pm at that time some things are working. I have some of the vedios which I want to share.

Needs a major revamp!

Very well located hotel, but housekeeping / linen is in a very poor state. Towels are old and look mouldy and housekeeping doesn't even know they have to put hand towels in the bathroom. YYou have to ring housekeepong for even a glass!! Very poorly equipped rooms. Food definitely can be made better. It is better to step out of the hotel for a meal. Staff is courteous but they also cant do anything if you give a suggestion. Used to be a good hotel but has really fallen in standard! The saving grace is the location!

Needs an upgrade

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn a couple of years back , but this time we found the hotel looking shabby. Linen is old and run down, laundry is not fresh. Only one restaurant is open so you are limited in the hotel itself . Staff is very helpful but the condition of the hotel has really gone down . Major upgrade needed in the rooms and linens
