We stayed in the Duke Suite, which is a lovely conversion of an attic room . This is reached by climbing three sets of very steep narrow stairs- which should be borne in mind if you're not so good with stairs or have very heavy bags.
The room had lots of Velux windows and a ceiling fan for ventilation - with a kitchenette. This is conveniently located for the Museums , and near the tram lines too.

What a special place! It’s a perfect balance of old world charm combined with all of the comforts of modern living.

Enjoyed sitting on the balcony our room was clean. You will have to carry your luggage up several narrow stairs there are no elevators.

We had the Dream Room which I believe is the smallest of the rooms at Amstel Corner. It was small but it was cozy. Comfortable bed, efficient kitchen and the bathroom shower was luxurious. We will definitely stay there again!

Good location. Met owner the last day, loved his book on the property history. He was super nice enough to give us a ride out to the port to catch our river cruise.
Bathroom/ room were pretty small.

Wonderful stay at Amstel Corner!!
Posted Feb. 10, 2019 on HotelsWe had a great stay at Amstel Corner! The owner was very friendly and flexible when our train was going to arrive later due to a delay. He even gave us a map and pointed out places to see before we leave. The location is perfect, a short walk from transit, as well as to many sights in the city. Our room was clean, and the space was perfect for two people. I would recommend Amstel Corner to anyone looking for a more authentic stay in Amsterdam to explore the city!
