Great Disneyland stay
Overall stay was great! It was a quick walk to Disneyland, Downtown Disney and California adventure. The Storybook villa had a great layout, clean and comfortable. We will definitely book again in the future!

Convenient stay for Disneyland visit
We enjoyed our stay at Storybook Villa. The townhome was well-stocked with fresh blankets and towels and everything was comfortable. We loved all the Disney decor touches, we even made Mickey waffles one morning! The walk to Downtown Disney/Disneyland gate isn't super quick, but doable! Happy to have the kitchen for cooking while visiting Disney.

Disney Family time
We were very happy with the location of the property as it is just a 9 min easy walk to the entrance to downtown Disney. The townhouse complex is an older complex but it served its purpose for what we needed, basically a place to come home to after a long day at Disneyland. We enjoyed the space and having a full kitchen to cook our breakfast was ideal. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults.

Think twice…depends on your priorities
When I booked this place, I read about every review. There were several that mentioned this place was old and not as pictured. I thought to myself, I’m sure they were embellishing. WRONG. This place doesn’t look as photoed. Not trying to be rude, but I am going to be honest. It’s OLD, in a scarier neighborhood (I would not walk without my husband with our kids), smelled and very small. I even contemplated on finding a hotel and leaving. I have never been so disappointed before. Besides the house being so old and broke down, ALL THE TOWELS, smelled of vomit and sewage (had to wash everything), master shower door left side isn’t on a track and almost fell on my youngest child (you have to lean in the right side to start the shower and basically soak yourself to start it to warm up), master bathroom floor is broken with lots of floor trim damage, the trundle was not under the bunk bed & looked dirty, tons of spare pillows but not a single pillowcase in the smelly cupboards to use with them. I am not normally one to leave a review like this, however, when you plan such a huge trip for your family, you expect what is being advertised. Far from it. I emailed the owner the night we arrived because I was upset, not a care in the world. He said the towels were new. Well, my thought was wouldn’t you wash them? The smell made the upstairs stink. How could you not notice that? Claimed the right side of the shower was the access point, well the free standing door almost crushed my kid.

Needs updated photos/deep clean
The condo is in desperate need of a deep clean. The oven was dirty so we couldn’t use it without the whole place smelling like someone else’s burnt food. The water and ice machine did not work on the fridge. There were spider webs and large spiders all over the back patio, including on the back door so we were uncomfortable letting our young kids play outside. There weren’t kids toys on the patio like in the listing, which was disappointing to them. The master shower had mold. The drains for the tubs and showers were all disintegrating and rusty. There was a thick layer of dust on the lampshades. The walls were dirty. When we walked in, it smelled so strongly of pinesol that we had to keep the doors open to air it out. The listing pictures are outdated. While it has the same furnishings, everything is more run down and dirty than appears in photos. The distance to Disneyland was a manageable walk with young kids, but that aside, I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Great Location
Family enjoyed our stay. Close proximity to Disney is ideal, but we did not walk to the park. Lyft was cheap and easy. Really liked having a garage. Would definitely recommend.

Location was great, about 20 min walk to the gates of the parks. We had a major issue at one point during our stay but our host answered our call immediately and was on site within 15 minutes and later resolved the issue. The unit could use a more thorough cleaning.

Property was about a 15-20 minute walk with a 5 and 7 year old. You do need to cross a street with no cross walk to make it that short of a walk. The tram took a few mins off the walk time on the way home. We liked: the pool, all the beds, stocked kitchen, communication with owner, easy check in and out, free parking. Could be better: more seating in living room-there is beds for 6+, but only seating for 3 in the living room and there was plenty of room for an additional love seat/chairs. The ice machine didn’t make ice and in 40+ C heat we needed ice! Not a deal breaker as we can buy ice but it would haven been nice to know ahead. It was clean, but definitely a bit more run down than expected. Overall, it’s definitely l worth staying here and would agai. If we went back.

Close enough to walk
Stay here for the proximity and ease of walking to DD and on to the parks. If you prefer a new, pristine room or bragging rights on your Disney vacation accommodations, maybe stay at one of the 3 D hotels. The hosts are great, the beds are comfy there are several strollers to borrow, 2 pack n plays, patio is ground floor (its one patio, spanning dining and den each with huge sliders) and private and the Disney theme is on point. Parking spot is 2 slots from doorway and under the quest room window. Neighborhood is quiet even with this end unit being on the perimeter drive. Everything that counts is clean and updated- appliances, fridge with ice dispenser, beds, towels, sheets, A/C. My husband has more discerning tastes and would prefer not to go this route in the future. I think its perfect for a family traveling with kids. Packing tips: bring shampoo/ cond. Bath soap, laundry soap, a hanging organizer for bathroom toiletries(limited counter space) mosquito lamp/coils, filtered water if you are finicky and cooking ingredients, spices, etc. that you may need. There is a small square charcoal bbq on the patio, some charcoal, plenty of nightlights, pool toys, towels and 3 kids life vests, hand soap(some water added), towels, sheets, extra blankets, dvds/player, pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, kids ware, 6 laundry pods, 3 rolls of TP in each bath, and plenty of hot H2O. Note: shower head in guest bath is fairly low, great for kids but tall adults will want to use master.

The location is perfect and condo has all you need. The condo could do with a spruce up as it looks a bit tired and clean/weed the outside area. The beds are really soft which we don't like but accept others would. Would I stay again, yes I would. Compared to Disney accommodation this is great value.

The pictures are from when the place was new, because its definitely not as nice now. Its old and not as clean. Needs paint and the baseboards need cleaning. The bathroom ensuite has water damage and mold. It is close to Disneyland, it is very quiet and has a great pool. The bed mattress is old and has a high spot in the center. Soft matress. Kids room quite nice. Other bedroom warn and needs paint. Bedding is not quality, warn out. All appliances worked properly. No welcome gift, or letter. Decorating is old. The living room area didn't have enough seating for 4 to sit comfortably to watch a movie. I just think for the cost it should have been closer to the pictures. Ive rented a number of VRBO places and they have always been classy. This place is not that. The pictures made me feel i was getting something more. We had a great holiday , in spite of these issues. We cooked in the kitchen, did laundy and could walk to Disneyland.

Great Disney Location
Overall, very happy with our recent stay here! This is the first time staying in this complex, and we really loved the location and convenience for our Disney days. Our kids (and ourselves) really enjoyed the pool and park areas on our “break days” from Disney. Lots of nearby grocery shopping, which is important for a family with 3 little kiddos. The property was well equipped for young kids, which I appreciate (strollers, high chair, kids cutlery/plates, etc). I would only say that if you are picky about a high level of esthetics for the place you stay, you may want to consider a different place. There are some renovations that could be done (cracks in grout, creaky floors, etc), but none of this bothered us. Would definitely stay here again when we return to the happiest place on earth! Great for families!
My family, all adults and one infant, decided to stay here in April. We wanted somewhere more like home to make it easier for the little one and to spend more time as a family. This home definitely allowed us to do so. Being able to have our own rooms but share common space was key for us adults. Our baby enjoyed her stay too since she got to have her own seat at the table in a high chair that was already there. This gave us so much relief because guess what our family didnt pack? Haha The location was amazing. We stayed M-W and even when we left the house at 715 AM, we still made it into the parks for rope drop! It also made going home after a long day so much easier. I also want to say the parking spot for this Vrbo is amazing. It is right infront of the house so when we were packing up and unloading it was so easy! They have a garage to use too but k recommend the spot for whatever car has the kiddos. Such an easy transfer. I plan to stay here again with some friends and their kiddos in October if the dates work! Repeat stay in the works.

Clean, comfortable, and close to the park!
This property has ample space for a decent sized group, and you simply can't beat the location. The home is kept clean and has great amenities; it's an older building but well-kept. Neighbors all seemed friendly, even those that seem to live there full-time. You can see/hear the Disney fireworks right from the front porch every night; so don't panic where you suddenly hear loud rumbling at 9:30pm. Pool access was incredible, 3 pools and a hot tub that were never busy (though I'm sure that changes with the weather). Would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location
This is a fantastic property. The location is great. It is about a 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney, so it is close enough to go back and take a little break instead of having to be at the parks all day. The house was very clean and close to many restaurants and grocery store. The host was very responsive and check in was easy. We will definitely try and stay here again next time.
