Nice, convenient condo

Great stay while visiting disneyland
Publié le 26 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe spent 3 nights at this home while we visited Disney land, it was a great location, easy to find, good communication with the owners, the home was clean and ready for us. It is about a 20 min walk to get to the entrance of Disneyland. The listing and photos are accurate. Would stay here again the next time.

I read reviews about it being dated…but if you have time to notice that you’re not doing Disney right!
Most definitely will stay there in the future!

Publié le 25 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy family and I had a pleasant stay. It was me, my wife, and our 3 kids (21/12/1). The condo location was as listed. Walking distance to the theme parks and Downtown Disney just about a 10min or so. The condo could use a little upgrading, but not a deal breaker. The neighborhood complex was nice and people were friendly. Communication with owner was great and prompt. I would definitely stay again!

almost 5 stars
Publié le 24 avr. 2023 sur HomeAwayCan't beat the location; it's definitely walking distance to Disney parks. Hosts seem friendly and definitely communicative. But a few issues need work - advertised queen bed in the master is actually a full bed. My husband is a tall bodybuilder and a full bed was really uncomfortable. A bunch of dishes and pot put away in the cupboards were dirty. Main bath sink drain was slow despite one of the hosts 'fixing' it with Draino. Most importantly - the upstairs rooms are much hotter than downstairs. Unbearably hot and stuffy and we are from Arizona. The thermostat was originally set to 75 deg and there is no way for a guest to change it. Bedrooms upstairs were then above 80 and we could not nap. Hosts changed it and it was okay once they did. It heated up while we were out to dinner though and hosts raised the temperature again, so it was way too hot when we got back. We reached out but they were sleeping. They lowered the temperature once they woke up. They know the bedrooms get too hot and they have a portable AC on standby. This solution they offered is a no go because there's hardly any floor space and the unit becomes a trip hazard. (say if you need to pee in the middle of the night and you're half asleep)
Definitely a place for families though - lots of amenities for children like toys, stroller, and high chair. If you don't mind heat or stuffy sleeping spaces, you might be okay.

I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations.
First, I'd like to note that the bed really is Queen size. The difference between a full and a queen is around 5 inches and without a tape measure, you might not be able to tell.
As for the air conditioner, your first message to us was: "no need to set up the window unit. it's quite confy up here now". Then, at midnight, you messaged that it got warm. I immediately turned the thermostat down. The next day, our property manager again offered to setup the window unit. You told her that there was no need as the temperature was fine after the thermostat was turned down.
If you had allowed us to set it up, you would have seen that it is placed next to the window, diagonally opposite the entrance to the room. It rarely gets in the way. We have used that AC with dozens of guests over multiple years and no one said that it got in the way.
By the way, our guest book does contain instructions on how to adjust the temperature manually. It is programmed with a schedule, so manual changes only apply till the next point. Hence, we encourage guests to let us know. In your case, the concern was night time temperature, so that was programmed to be 3 degrees lower. The daytime temperature was not adjusted.
After the bathroom sink was cleared with draino, we sent you a video showing that the water was draining fine with the tap running. You did not dispute that. The next guests also did not have any complaints.
Regarding the dishes, we have addressed that with the cleaning service.
In summary, if you had let us set up the AC, your "almost 5 star" experience would have been 5 star, as it has been for most other guests.
