Good housing concept. Quality house with a very good interior. Two things disappointed us a little: - not seeing anyone when arriving at the end of the day or before 10 a.m. when leaving, - breakfast was a bit limited. No bread (which for us French is unthinkable) and not really any fresh produce (ham, bacon, cheese, fruit...).

Hello Philippe, thank you for your stay at Arctic Fox Vacation Rentals and Inn. We are glad you enjoyed the property and interior. FOR FUTURE GUESTS: This property offers vacation rental apartments with their own kitchens and are fully self catered and no breakfast is provided. We also offer a few guest rooms in the Inn which has a shared living room and dining area. While the property is advertises as no breakfast provided, guests in the Inn do not have kitchen access and therefore we do provide a complimentary self-serve breakfast to include hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, cheese, fruit, hot and cold cereals, granola, English muffins or other items for toaster use, orange juice, coffee, tea, cocoa and milk. Cleaners and staff are in and out of the property, but are also available via phone through the reservations line, or a special number to call during sleeping hours should an urgent need arise.We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future.

Très bon séjour

Bon accueil de Milan qui a su très bien s'occuper de nous. La maison est conviviale, très très propre, arrangée avec goût et le lit est très confortable. Nous avons été obligés de nous lever très tôt car nous avions un train à prendre et on nous avait préparé un copieux petit déjeuner à apporter que nous avons dégusté une fois dans le train. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour. Dominique et Jean-Marc

Our nice, simple studio apartment was a great option for our stay in Anchorage. Easy walk to downtown and waterfront. Our host, Jeff, was very responsive and helpful.

The property is a 10 minute walk away from restaurants and railway. However, there are a lot of homeless people in the vicinity and it seemed a little unsafe at times, as it’s in a remote area.

Hello Sita, thank you for your review. Anchorage does have a lot of homeless people in the downtown area. For future guests, homeless are everywhere in Anchorage, but the heaviest population is downtown in the vicinity all the major hotels. Uber, Lyft and taxis are plentiful.

Very nice property with clear and well communicated guidance from host. It’s about a 12 min walk to downtown which was fine for us.

Due to room type/ no entitlement breakfast

Was fine for our stay BUT single beds uncomfortable (squeeze), floors cracked sound when walking. Pillows 👎. For hygiene, pillows should have proper protectors on them(changed every room change.) & no proper bed protectors. Chain on ceiling fan broken, short. No sachets of tea/coffee etc. nor toiletries/hair dryer. Travellers from overseas don’t carry somethings.

Hello Donna,Thank you for staying with us. We appreciate the feedback and will look into the ceiling fan chain. FOR FUTURE GUESTS, we do have mattress pad protectors on the beds and all sleeping pillows are covered with washable coverings. A variety of teas and sugar are kept in the cupboard in each apartment, coffee is usually in a container next to the coffee maker. A hairdryer is in each bathroom. Sometimes things do get moved around, so if you can't find something, or IF ANYTHING IS MISSING, please do call us as extra supplies are available in the guest laundry room and we can always direct you to them if you are not locating them inside the rental unit itself. Shampoo and body wash are provided and in the unit.
