Good housing concept.
Quality house with a very good interior.
Two things disappointed us a little:
- not seeing anyone when arriving at the end of the day or before 10 a.m. when leaving,
- breakfast was a bit limited. No bread (which for us French is unthinkable) and not really any fresh produce (ham, bacon, cheese, fruit...).

Hello Philippe, thank you for your stay at Arctic Fox Vacation Rentals and Inn. We are glad you enjoyed the property and interior. FOR FUTURE GUESTS: This property offers vacation rental apartments with their own kitchens and are fully self catered and no breakfast is provided. We also offer a few guest rooms in the Inn which has a shared living room and dining area. While the property is advertises as no breakfast provided, guests in the Inn do not have kitchen access and therefore we do provide a complimentary self-serve breakfast to include hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, cheese, fruit, hot and cold cereals, granola, English muffins or other items for toaster use, orange juice, coffee, tea, cocoa and milk. Cleaners and staff are in and out of the property, but are also available via phone through the reservations line, or a special number to call during sleeping hours should an urgent need arise.We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future.

Très bon séjour
Publié le 25 juill. 2018 sur HotelsBon accueil de Milan qui a su très bien s'occuper de nous. La maison est conviviale, très très propre, arrangée avec goût et le lit est très confortable. Nous avons été obligés de nous lever très tôt car nous avions un train à prendre et on nous avait préparé un copieux petit déjeuner à apporter que nous avons dégusté une fois dans le train. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour. Dominique et Jean-Marc

Wonderful view, clean and spacious apartment
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HotelsIt was an exceptionally clean and well maintained apartment in downtown Anchorage. The owner/ manager Jeff is really nice and cooperative. I am a solo female traveler and felt quite safe. A full kitchen and separate bedroom for the price of a hotel room was a really good deal. I was in apt 5 and the view was fantastic. Rooms are secured by a code and they have paid laundry too. They also have other apartments with more bedrooms, so it’s good for families.
The only few considerations are: 1. Lots of stairs to reach the apartment. 2. Homeless people on the street as soon you get out - they didn’t cause me any problems, but I was a little unnerved. 3. All major stores like Walmart, Walgreens, Carrs, etc are in mid-town, so you need to spend on Uber.
Both 2 & 3 are not an issue if you have a car, I didn’t.

Afraid in Anchorage

The security measures were fantastic, but when you open your door with a homeless person camped 50 feet from the door, it is uncomfortable to say the least. Very clean but older apartment. Manager was very kind allowing us early check-in. However, I would not have stayed without my husband to help me feel safe. No view from this room. The view was the backside of a building with garbage dumpsters. I wish this was communicated in the description. Felt much safer in the woods than in this area of Anchorage.

Thanks Diane for staying with us. We are very glad you enjoyed the cleanliness and staff. Anchorage does have a lot of homeless people in the downtown area, but rarely do they come on site. FUTURE GUESTS, if someone is hanging out, please do let us know and we will address.
