Run Down and Unclean
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place is rundown, built in the 70's or 80's and hasn't been touched since.
Lots of little broken things, place is filthy and the entire property needs to be scrubbed clean for a couple days.
Everything is OLD. Thought I was going to fall through the shower tub floor it's so rickety. Feels like going back in time 40 years, and about the same feeling for how long it's been since it was cleaned.
If you want a place to stay with a group of friends to enjoy the resort, it's a fine place. Definitely not somewhere to stay for any length of time and be enjoyable.
Oh yea, blinds would be nice. The downstairs bathroom has a full length window right to the road, from the toilet! The place is basically all windows, good luck sleeping in with daytime light and no blinds.
Dishes were dirty, there was gross years old hair clogging the tub drain, the list goes on.

Half way point

Good stay

Funky Fun Place
Publié le 3 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is an older cabin and has its quirks, however it is spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied.
It's an easy walk to Girdwood Brewing or the Alyeska resort.
Would definitely stay again.

Perfect spot!
Publié le 16 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhen we arrived we found everything as described. Instructions and directions were text to us early. Then they asked if everything was satisfactory once we checked in.
I text the staff and they responded immediately. We ran out of propane and asked if there was any on the property. There was not, but they were on top of it and had it here asap.
The hottub was amazing and the heaters all worked. The kids and adults loved the foosball table. We loved all the windows and the beautiful view. Make sure to take the short hike up to the waterfall. You won’t be disappointed.
I was trying to think of a downfall, but our only complaint was the grill was not cleaned before us and was moldy. (It’s clean now. We made sure)
The downstairs bathroom could use a curtain. Not a complaint, just an observation.
