Great location, needs updating
Publié le 13 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery conveniently located right next to the ski lifts and close to amenities of Girdwood. The place is in need of a replacement carpet (stained) and the bedroom ceiling and bathroom skirting board needs work due to what looks like mold damage.
Key pickup instructions could make it clearer that the lockbox is directly outside the actual condo as opposed to one of the many lockboxes outside the building itself.
Garbage dropoff instructions were not accurate, referenced a dumpster which did not exist.

Not worth renting

Perfect location in Girdwood

Nice basic, roomy space. Only 3 local channels and dvs player so bring dvds or a laptop with pre-downloaded content (no internet), or a nice book to read for those down times.
King size bed was very soft and occupants rolled to the middle.
Kitchen has coffee maker (bring grounds, filters available), toaster, microwave, crock pot, full-function stove/oven and full-size fridge/freezer.

Publié le 15 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWhile this property is within walking distance to restaurants, and hiking trails it had black mold in the window sills and shower door and bathroom baseboards. Furniture in bad shape and mice. Has TVs but no internet or cable

Nice property with a nice location. Could be cleaner. Probably just a bad turnover. bath is moldy

The smell lingered on our clothes when we left
Publié le 31 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis property at Alyeska North needs a total remodel. We arrived to a strong odor used to mask the smoke and pet odor. The floors were visibly and plentifully stained, 4 of the chairs had chair legs so loose we were afraid to sit in them. The cloth chair although not ripped in the online ad had a big tear in it. Blinds damaged. Pet damage and/or mold and water damage on living room windows and bath trim. No wi-fi, no internet. Checked for bed bugs because of the look of the property, but didn't find any. Some items under the bed and couch. Thankfully there was a cancellation at another place in town that I found and when I brought that up to the property manager, was able to move over to a clean and well taken care of unit.They were helpful in getting us over there.
