Publié le 6 nov. 2024 sur HomeAway We really enjoyed our stay there. Quiet and very comfortable cabin. Would be fun to be there during Ski season. I may have missed the memo, but parking was a wee nebulous for a good location.

It was clean and friendly and we would definitely either stay here again or recommend to a friend! The only reason we decided 4 stars instead of 5 was the difficulty/lack of clarity on where to park and how overgrown the pathway to the chalet was, making it difficult to bring luggage back and forth. Other than that, the perfect experience

Perfect little house
Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a perfect property and jumping off point for local activities. Quit area and a close walk to town center for dinner and groceries. Kitchen is well stocked and the grill was nice to use! Will consider this property again

Publié le 28 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayPositives: very comfortable and spacious. nice beds. quiet area. others mentioned dated but that wasn't a problem for us. it was clean. wifi was good. gas fireplace is a nice touch. girdwood and the surrounding areas are great.
Negatives: hot tub more like a warm bath. not much cable tv. extremely slippery long walkway to the unit from the parking lot. i'm used to snow and ice but this was shear ice and flat out unsafe. too far to walk with skis to the lifts (could have saved money and drove a couple more minutes). fees doubled the nightly rate.
i'm not inclined to leave negative reviews and i wouldn't have if vacasa had been helpful. it took over a week to respond to an email before our trip. we asked for something to be done about the icy walkway and they didn't do anything. they were quick to send canned emails and ask me if i wanted to buy late checkout, just no communication that was helpful. maybe they are managing too many properties and can't be responsive.
