Modern Turnagain Townhome

This newly remodeled gem is a rare find that combines comfort, style and luxury to ensure a great experience on your getaway. It’s located on a quiet street minutes from the airport and blocks from the one-of-a-kind Coastal Trail with spacious parks, playgrounds, ice skating rinks, and wildlife. It’s not uncommon to see Moose and other animals on the trail, just be sure to keep your distance when it happens.

Our previous guests tend to be into one or more of the following categories. (1) Really want to create an extra special vacation memory or celebrate a major milestone, (2) always wanted to visit Alaska to explore the natural beauty, (3) considering moving to the 49th state.

Like you, we enjoy traveling and the adventure of exploring new places so we’re happy to give recommendations for activities or sights to see on your trip. Guests have provided rave reviews for this special service.

Interior Layout:
4 br/ 2.5 bath spread out over three floors and sleeps eight. One king in the primary bedroom with attached private bathroom; one queen downstairs; and two full beds upstairs; in addition to an air mattress and pack-n-play. There are two separate living areas, a south facing yard, and one assigned parking spot.

Alaskan Golf Getaway
We are a group of 4, traveling to Alaska to enjoy a summer solstice golf adventure. Golfing past midnight is spectacular! This property served us well, located in a great location, very clean, and very well managed. The host was very responsive with all communications, and very accommodating to everything requested. Nice location for any runners out there!
This place was perfect for our stay in Alaska. We were constantly driving back and forth between Girdwood and Palmer so this was in a great location. My sister and I took advantage of being so close to the coastal trail and went on a few runs were we saw a lot of other early morning runners. One thing that I want to note is that it is 4 bedroom but both the showers are located on the 3rd floor. One bedroom is on the first floor where there is not a bathroom at all and requires them to go to the 2nd floor to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Not a deal breaker, but something future returns should be aware of if stairs are an issue.

We enjoyed our stay. House was very clean, stocked, and ideally located. I only recommend adding televisions to the bedrooms (only one was in the master) and the main floor living room. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Unhappy wife
There for a short stay and hosts were very responsive. Although we stayed there after an unusual snow storm, the kitchen had no hot water, dishwasher didn’t work and parking was horrible as there is only street parking. Neighbors vehicle parked against my bumper. The house was cold except for the downstairs which was extremely hot. Outdoor steps were slippery and covered with ice and trash was over flowing.. I’m sure would’ve been better in warmer weather. Everything started working the day we were leaving when it warmed up.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It is centrally located in Anchorage so it didn’t take very long to drive anywhere. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Great home for an Anchorage visit!
