Great place to stay

TOOOOO many steep stairs

Then, upon arrival, we discovered the second set of stairs :( We are both in our 70's and navigating the stairs with our luggage and just going from one level to another was difficult. We are both physically fit for our ages and we would grimace every time we realized we needed to get something from our bedrooms after being at the entry level! ALSO, the front door lock was extremely difficult to manuveur...

Clean and stylish

Great location that made it easy to get around downtown and to the airport, but still quiet and tucked away off the main streets. Check-in and check-out was easy. There is a train that runs by regularly, but that didn't bother us. Our only complaints - the tv wasn't working properly (audio worked but picture did not), and the rug at the foot of the stairs in the landing was a slip-hazard.

1st Alaska Trip
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayNot quite as advertised. TV not functional, dishwasher wouldn’t work…everything else was as advertised. Pretty good location, $5-7 cab ride to most downtown places. Overall I’d give it a 7 as total experience. A little pricey but most things are, especially days before cruise ships leave from Seward.

Fun in Anchorage
