The James F Martin is our favorite Clemson hotel. We always stay here. The staff is amazing and the rooms the spacious and comfortable. The location and amenities are great and we always feel welcome.

This is the quintessential property to stay at if you want to experience Clemson University, especially for the first time. The property is a beautiful resort on a lake, surrounded by the Clemson University golf course. I stayed there to visit my daughter who is a student at the university and the accommodations are first rate. When the football team is at an away game, the Browns are very quiet this time of year. The hotel is clean and the rooms work very well. This is my second stay here and I would stay again.

The door jamb was not snug around the door so light from the hallway shown in through all around the door. It was difficult to sleep facing toward the door.
