We were turned away at the desk no rooms no power. It was nasty and noisey.Bad area. Looked awful from the outside. To top it off Expedia will not issue refund because property did not respond to them. We were staying because of power outage and damage from Helene. Now being charged for a stay that we were turned away a hotel desk. Would not have stayed at this place anyway

This stay at Horizon Inn and Suites was poor the bathroom and toilet and shower were dirty had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom and the microwave was in the bathroom near the sink needs in the bedroom floors were dirty had to use pine sol to clean floors could not get but 2 pillows per bed, also had bugs crawling on floor need more lights in bedroom only have one lamp. This hotel needs to be closed for a while to be remodeled because it needs it. The ceiling looks like it needs a new roof looks leaky.The wood on the bedroom wall needs to be treated. I give this a D rating it was not the best hotel i have stayed in. Hope this hotel gets the upgrades it needs.

Horrible experience. I booked and reserved TWO rooms and when my employees went to check in they SOLD our rooms even though i already PAID for them. There werw no more rooms in the city we had to drive 3.5 hours BACK home

We had no power to clean rooms that day and when he came in to get the rooms all i had is 2 king rooms. He said he did not want them and left. he came back a hour later and wanted them. At that point we did not have anything left. He said no to the rooms that we had clean

I took pics and showed the lady at the desk

The place was unsafe and the room smelled like urine. We left and had to find another hotel.

The room was in dire need of cleaning and upgrades, the bathroom alone was very dirty and there was no evidence that any care had been taken to wipe down anything, there was a piece of spaghetti stuck to the wall over the vanity space outside the bathroom, lamps were in operable as well as the tv.
