Excellent

We had a very nicely renovated large room on the second floor of the main building, looking out onto the pedestrian High Street. A little noise from the party-goers, but got to sleep fine. Buffet breakfast was plentiful but nothing special, ie bacon overdone, cheap sausages and weak filtered coffee but nice croissant and pastries.
Nice: reception staff were friendly; room was clean; bed was comfy
Not nice: the shower didn't work (alleged recent repair was botched/flow control not properly attached); breakfast staff were invisible; and breakfast (12 GBP) was missing endless things; TV mounted so high on the wall it was unusable.
Have stayed at this hotel many times. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Rooms always warm and clean. Always get a good nights sleep in a comfy bed.
Rooms were clean excellent parking and very convenient for a night out in town

Tired!
The club next door closed approximately 2am, there was noise until 3am. The room we were staying in should not be occupied at weekends!!! It faced the sound system and It was awful. I then had to drive 130 miles with no sleep, it was not only dangerous, I paid £84 for the privilege! I have stayed at this hotel loads of times but never in that room! It is a lovely hotel, but they should think about their customers more.
Good property lovely courtyard and nice room and bathroom.
Breakfast was great.
Only thing that was missing was a bar, rather than the fridge on reception.
I would stay again and would recommend.
