Avis Peony Point - Semi Waterfront - Shuswap Vacations and Sledding Accommodation

I contacted the guests by email, then by text at the same time as people tend to not look at their email while on holidays, so was one contact. The reason for contacting was the guests were parked on the lawn and we were worried it would be damaging the irrigation system on the lawn. So as to avoid any damages to the property, we thought this was not an inconvenience to kindly ask to park off the grass. The landscaper is a neighbor and only drove past on his way home and noticed… he does not spy on our guests. He was just being neighborly and trying to be proactive. No need for damages if they can be avoided. I really wish this was explained in the review instead of targeting us as poor hosts in such a manner. We always put our guests privacy first, and put our hearts into maintaining good relations with our guests and ensuring they have a comfortable stay. We work very hard at being great hosts and this shows with our 5-star overall rating on our properties. It’s never our intensions to make guests feel uncomfortable and strongly feel our request was taken out of context. We also chose to communicate by text/email, vs. showing up at the property, as that would have felt more intruding on privacy. I hope our guests can accept our explanation and wish all the best to them <3
