Great Location, Clean and comfy
Publié le 10 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayGreat house, lots of space with private beach and dock. We enjoyed our stay. Grassy area by the house to play on. Had everything we needed. Only suggestion would be to replace the oven. We could never get it hot enough and the stove top would be really hot when on low. Thank you so much for sharing your place!

Great location to explore Shushwap and Seymore arm.
Publié le 8 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayMy extended family enjoyed our stay at the house, despite a few problems with the property. The unit has a great layout and is in a fantastic location. We walked the quick 5 minutes down to the marina for ice cream almost daily. Having the two mouring spots and a dock was great. My family and I spent most of our time out on boats or seadoos exploring the lake, finding great beaches, hikes and waterfalls around the Shushwap and Seymour arm. As for the house itself, the kitchen and dining room were very large and we could cook and eat comfortably. Afterwards we could all sit on the covered deck to play cards. There is plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. Unfortunately, the house wasn't very clean when we arrived. One of the bed's sheets definitely hadn't been washed (grass and sand found in the sheets), we found food crumbs in the kitchen drawers, and the bathrooms needed a solid scrub. In addition to the lack of cleanliness the first night we tried to cook dinner we found out the oven didn't work. The host wasn't able to come and fix/replace it during our stay so we had to make due without. Finally, while the kitchen utensils and bed linens are well stocked much of it could use replacing as it is well past its prime. Overall the place worked for us. The location is hard to beat and the house offers a lot of space for a big group. A bit of updating and better management of the cleaning between visitors would have made the place just that much better.

We take the management and cleanliness of our property very seriously.
We are very miraculous when it comes to cleaning and very surprised that things were missed, as we cleaned it ourselves.
We replaced our cookware and utensils this year and perhaps they were damaged over the rental season. We will replace them again if required.
We apologize and feel bad that the oven did not work , due to the remote area the technician could not come out until the following week. The oven is fixed.

Clean & Comfortable
Publié le 6 sept. 2020 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay at this home. It’s very clean, beds are comfortable, good space and well appointed. The location is great and we loved the beach and it’s privacy.
Todd & Candace we’re friendly, easy to work with and answered all our questions promptly. We would absolutely stay in this property again should future travels bring us back to the Shuswap and the property is available.

Perfect family lake getaway

Publié le 12 août 2019 sur HomeAwayHad an amazing trip, the only thing I'd change would be the cleanliness of property, being spider webs and the dealings of an older home, however would stay there again without hesitation.
