Beautiful home. Great views thru wall of windows on lake side. Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of room for 8 of us to eat together and sit in family room together. Great deck and fire pit. No swimming in front of house but short drive to beach. Grocery store 10 minutes away

Great Family Vacation
This was a great spot for our multi-generational family vacation with ages 2 to 70+. The deck was great for relaxing and visiting with the swans & ducks. Living space was comfortable with lots of seating - loved having 3 bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. Best of all was the well equipped kitchen for a group that loves to cook. The public access beach minutes away worked well for our the under 10 set and nearby Pokagon State Park is a jewel.

Friends getaway
Great place to reunion with close friends. The living area had good seating to be able to just sit around and talk. Enjoyed the deck with sufficient amounts of seats for all that were there. Nice and close to Pokagon State Park.

Great Mid-Winter Weekend
We were in town for an athletic event at Trine University and decided to make a weekend of it. Glad we did! This home was perfect some much-needed family time. Comfortable beds, morning coffee while gazing out the huge wall of windows at the water, ample space for relaxing as a large family, and everything we needed to end the day with steaks on the grill. Highly recommend.

I was disappointed in the linens. They were stained. Also the attic storage doors need to have locks on them. The living area seating was not good for older people. The neighbors were very nice and helpful. Overall we had fun but some things need to be corrected.

Perfect family getaway.
We have used VRBO for several vacations over the years and this property was the best experience by far! While previous locations have been nice, this home was perfectly suited for "renters". The home was very tastefully decorated, but not packed with personal nick knacks and photos. In the past, it has been difficult to feel like we were vacationing when we are reminded we are sleeping in someone else's home. This experience was more like residing in a premium hotel. The rooms are large with plenty of closet space. The kitchen, and dining room spectacular. The communication with the owner was seamless and extremely friendly. The "how to" list for the week organized and provided in advance for easy reference. EVERYTHING you could ask for was inside and outside the home. WE will make this home our "go to" from now on when traveling to Indiana. THIS HOME IS EXCEPTIONAL.

Great place. Plenty of room and a great location. We were wanting a quiet get a way and this place was great. So nice to pull into the attached garage. Huge closets so the suitcases weren’t in the way all week.

Property was located in a small neighborhood on the second basin. All were very friendly. The house was beautiful. We throughly enjoyed ourselves . We have only one suggestion. Towels and linens should be bleached, as there were stains in many .

Property is beautiful and comfortable. Crooked Lake is so peaceful and the wildlife (nesting swan and her partner) made it even greater. Absolutely great rental and host was wonderful. Hoping to visit again in the future.

Sister trip
This was a such needed break. We hung out, cooked, told stories, laughed, played games. We loved the view and being able to stay together and relax. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen was amazing. I heard "chef's kitchen" said a couple of times. The view of the lake is beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the swans and ducks. Only 1 recommendation is the room over the garage have a railing or piece of furniture next to the steps. We are middle aged ladies and could use some help with stairs especially in the middle of the night. This place is beautiful and we will keep it in mind when scheduling again.

A very clean place. Comfy beds and blankets. Beautiful views of the lake. Our family of 8 adults and 4 kids had plenty of room. Grocery store and pokagon tobaggon slide all close by.

Amazing lake getaway
Before we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at the timely manner in which the owner answered questions or alleviated any concerns we had. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed with ease of check in, cleanliness of the place, and the view!!! We rented this for 8 adults and 4 kids and it worked perfectly. It far exceeded our expectations! We loved the space inside, the nature (turtles, fish, swans, and ducks), the view from the deck where we could watch the sunrise, swimming off the pier, and the beach down the road. We can’t say enough positive things about this place and would 100% return!!
