Two bedrooms with queen beds, well equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs mounted in each room, full sized washer & dryer, and large front porch with mini fridge all combine as your home base in paradise. Enjoy relaxing moments poolside, 🏖 beachfront, or exploring the whimsical boutiques in the SUNNY QUAINT VILLAGES on Anna Maria Island. 🤩

Everything you need to enjoy your days on the island is at the cottage - just add food & drink + swimsuit & flip flops. We provide a street legal golf cart (4 seats), beach chairs, beach umbrellas, Wheeleez beach wagon, bicycles 🚲, four stand up paddle boards, two-seat kayak, private outdoor shower/changing room with hot & cold water, two gas grills, coolers, and more! 🍔 After a day at the beach or sightseeing, the private pool/spa awaits - chilled or heated - any time of the year. A 55 inch Smart TV is set up for you to watch your favorite team (or whatever!) while chilling in the pool!💦 Ledge Lounger ice bucket/table in pool splash pad for your drinks. 🥤

Don't bring beach towels, paper towels, or toilet paper! We have all the basics (and more) supplied in the kitchen and bathroom. Pack n Play, high chair, booster seat & stroller are in the hall closet for the small ones. Pet dishes in place for your OTHER small ones! 🐕‍🦺

Spices, chocolates, wine, water at each bedside, coffee, and tea complete the arrival necessities. ☕ Coffee grinder is also provided.

Family of 4 stayed here comfortably for 3 nights in April. Had an excellent time on the island. And we were really impressed with the property and its location. Cool little trail, steps from the door take you straight to Bean Point.

Outdoor Oasis
This property is ideal…clean, close to the beach and comes with everything that you need for a relaxing vacation. The outdoor area with heated pool, hot tub, kayak, paddle boards, outdoor shower and tv was amazing! We spent most of our time outdoors with everything that we needed. I can’t say enough good things…we hope to go back soon!

My sixth year returning to reset and relax… I was so relieved to see little Castaway still standing and looking fabulous after Helene and Milton- kudos to Dan and Goose for their hospitality and even welcoming a new puppy to the scene. It was wonderful to see businesses and folks coming back from the devastation and look forward to next time!

"Beautiful Island, Disappointing Stay""Beautiful Island, Disappointing "amenities".
The island itself was absolutely perfect – beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the amenities at the cottage left much to be desired. The hot tub, which was one of the main reasons I chose this property, was unusable for 2 of the 3 nights I stayed. When reaching out to the hosts, their response was underwhelming at best. The first complaint led to a "fix" which allowed the hot tub to be used one night, the second complaint the host simply stated that they hoped it "didn't ruin the evening" rather than offering any real solution or compensation. Communication was lacking throughout our stay, which was disappointing. While the location was wonderful, the overall experience fell short due to the unusable amenities and poor host response.

Castaway Cottage exceeded our expectations! The location is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach and dining is an easy 3 minute golf cart ride. The owners outfitted the home to perfection. We loved our stay and look forward to another visit soon.

Amazing time
Myself, my husband and our twin boys age 8 stayed from Dec 23rd - Dec 28th, 2024. and Yes even after 2 hurricanes we still went! and with zero regrets. AMI came a long way in 2months of hard work.Dan and Lori were great! They kept me informed and up to date with status of repairs because of hurricane damage. Any questions I had prior to arrival with status of island, places open etc. They got back to me same day. This place was perfect for us. Everything we needed was there, the pool was great and ready for us. A quick 2mins walk and we were on the beach. The golf cart we used everyday which the kids loved! It was an all around great place to stay & will definitely visit here again. Thank you Dan and Lori :) Hope 2025 is a great year !

This was hands down the best service ive ever experienced even better than most hotels! The property managers were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. They had a ton of amenities and they even blessed us with a bottle of wine and champagne for our honeymoon! I definitely recommend this place to vacation we will be back for sure!

Finally, a Space That Lives Up To Its Billing
Perfectly lovely, well put-together, homey, full of amenities, including beach amenities, comes with goofy wheelbarrow to haul chairs and umbrellas and miscellaneous crapola to the beach plus a goofy golf cart tor tool around within a few miles, and everything is within a few miles. Managers were welcoming and helpful.

AMI is our Happy Place!
We have been going to AMI for over 50 and 30 years respectively. We love it!! Cottage was great for us! Pool area is fabulous! If you are an ocean swimmer you are close to Bean Point so keep that in mind. Area immediate to cottage doesn’t flood but surrounding streets will in a heavy rain. We loved our stay and would return!

My wife and I came to Anna Maria to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary. Castaway Cottage was perfect for us. The cottage was well stocked with every necessity for our 4 night stay. The pool and outdoor shower were amazing and the close proximity to the beach made it a breeze to walk out for views of the sunsets. We would definitely come back for another stay.

Super Duper Awesome!
Awesome location! Easy walk to the beach. Amazing pool! Great for morning swims and hopping into after all day at the beach. Wonderful hosts! We always enjoy sitting outside on the porch and having a drink with them. We’ve been to Anna Marie many times and this is by far the best place we have stayed. It is perfect for couples. Everything is provided. The golf cart makes it easy to get around the island. The outdoor shower is also a nice bonus.

Quiet end of the island
Loved this little beach house! The backyard was my favorite, nice pool and the outdoor shower was great for after the beach. Everything you would need was provided. Easy walking distance to beach/bean point. We had a rental car but used the golf cart everyday, much easier to get around and park. Loved the location, not as busy on the north end and you can't beat the sunsets on bean point! Owners very quick to respond with anything you need.
