We appreciated the swimmingpool and sauna late afternoon, when coming back after our visits in the region. Thanks Ulrike for your disposal and your very good communication in french. We fully recommend this so typical wodden chalet.

Publié le 13 août 2022 sur HomeAwayThe location is great; there is a lot to do near by the chalet( hiking, Salzbourg, halstatt) and abtenau has all the commodities you will need. The inside swimming pool and sauna are clearly a plus on not sunny days.
The chalet was perfect for 2 families and 4 kids (with games, lego, and the wii to refresh your austrian dances for the traditionnal concerts)
Ulrike was a perfect host, very reactive and helpfull.
We Had a great Time for Our first Time un Austria!!!

A real gem of a place

The chalet is as described (better even) and its location excellent for local walks as well as further away visits including Salzburg, Hallstatt, and of course of the whole Dachstein area. On location and to be enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna add a real bonus, as well as few nice restaurants immediately around. Ulrike took real good care of us with countless tips and plans to try out. Thank you!!

Thank you for your nice review :-) Our chalet is indeed located just 50m from the indoor swimming pool and sauna, ideal for families with children. I am always happy to give my guests good recommendations. I hope to welcome you again next year!

A "mountain view"
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful cottage with much hand-made wooden furniture, beds, walls etc. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths fine for 6-8 people. Unbelievable mountain view from spacious deck.
There are several nice restaurants within 10-15 minute drive.
Communal pool in near-bye reception building.
Host was very responsive and helpful; we were weather delayed one day but Ulrike offered us to stay 1 extra day at the end (since was open); this was a very generous gesture. thank you very much.
Our group of 5 adults and 1 child enjoyed the cottage very much.

Dear Rick, thank you for your review, I am so glad it worked out that you could stay a day longer, as you missed your first day due to flight delays. Good experience, a bit overpriced.
Publié le 8 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time during the last week of the year. Convenient location walking to skiing pistas and rentals. Beautiful views. Great response from owner when needed.
Comfortable cabin for all 6 people, but common areas a bit tight and limited entertainment options if staying indoors (eg: no smart tv to connect to movie apps).
Picture in the add does not show a water tank (or similar) located on one side of the house.
Given the high cost of rental, additional fees from vrbo and from owner, we were expecting a bit more on the hospitality upon arrival - Simple things that don’t cost much but add to the experience, but overall very good holiday.

Sehr schönes Haus und schöne Aussicht
Publié le 31 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayEs war ein schöner Urlaub, Kommunikation mit Gastgebern war super. Der Pool und Sauna die 50 meter entfernt waren, da haben sie sich die Kinder gefreut. Im großen ganzem war es ein super Urlaub.
