Amazing home, amazing location!
Publié le 9 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect. Spacious for four of us, comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plenty of room for us to spread out, including the kitchen and living room. Convenient small grocery in walking distance (we did not have a car), and a bakery and some great restaurants. Several wonderful walks to nearby towns. Hosts were beery responsive to any questions we had. We would absolutely return again!

Beautiful East Fife
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a glorious week in this beautiful house in Pittenweem helped no doubt by the unseasonably warm and sunny weather. The area is very scenic with lots of farm and fish shops which we enjoyed visiting. The house itself is lovely - very comfortable, warm and inviting with a real sun trap of a garden which we used every day. Gloriously private and quiet too! Would hesitate to recommend!

Lovely retreat
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a lovely property, very serene with lots of light, a gorgeous garden, and stunning views from the upper floors. I needed someplace that felt quiet and private but not isolated and this totally fit the bill… it was right in town but tucked away on a steep, narrow lane that only allows for foot traffic.
If anyone in your party has mobility issues, this property probably isn’t right - you have to walk yourself and your luggage up the lane with has some stairs as well, and the house itself is on three floors. For me it was absolutely perfect, and it would be great for a larger party as it has three lovely bedrooms and two full baths, and the kitchen is large with a big table and there is lovely outdoor furniture as well.
The hosts were wonderful, very communicative and helpful. All in all, a very well run property in a beautiful setting. I felt very lucky to have stayed there.

Beautiful stay

All perfect, no complaints (only thing to note and people could be made aware of is had children there once and when back door and front door open at same it’s a bit of a wind tunnel, need to prop front door open otherwise it slams and it’s heavy and child nearly got caught - just useful to be aware of it!)

The back door in the kitchen is opposite the front door in the hallway. If the door between both rooms has not been closed, even a gentle breeze will cause one of the doors to close. Thank you for mentioning this and we will certainly include it in our information to future guests.

Binny Cottage

Lovely house in a lovely village
Publié le 1 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayIdyllic is the word - Pittenweem is a lovely little fishing village and a great base for wider travel, and this house is just perfect - really well presented, large enough that you aren't all tripping over each other and very quiet. Sam is a terrific host too.
