Great place, cosy and lovely cottage with a view on the sea
Publié le 11 août 2016 sur HomeAwayMuch better than a hotel, the place is comfortable and decorated with great taste. Every detail has been thought with care by the owners who are tasteful and very kind. A nice welcome present waits for you on your arrival.
The beds are incredibly comfy, the kitchen is fully equipped.
Everything looks nice and works perfectly.
You get what you paid for, and what you expected to get. The pictures are exactly faithful to the reality.

4 day birthday break

Everyone was very comfortable but the loft space did allow sound to travel from downstairs.
We enjoyed the patio and beautiful views of the forth. We cooked a meal on the third day and made full use of the well appointed kitchen.
The only issue we had was the lack of toilet brush and that we couldn't get the washing machine to drain. The host's solution to this (send more towels) would not have been practical on a longer stay.
Very pleasant cottage..

The solution of ‘sending more towels’ I felt as the host was the most practical as the guests only had two more nights left of the stay when it was brought to my attention. The towels were delivered the morning after the issue was raised.
We always strive to provide good service and have a great housekeeping team. Hopefully this issue did not spoil your stay.

Wonderful stay!
Publié le 22 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat 3 night stay. The beds were comfortable and the electric blankets were a great treat. Hot water was always available and the kitchen was well stocked (even though we didn't really cook). The best feature is the views. Priceless.

Small Oasis with a view
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery nice place with a beautiful view .. very clean and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Our only negative was the parking situation. There are cearly enough spaces for 3 cars, but someone didn't want us parking there .. so they took up 2 spaces with one car. We had to park further away, and carry our things up the hill.

Publié le 17 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely week in this house, no problem parking , as a space just next to the house . The house was lovely and clean and excellent decor. We would definitely go again , hopefully next year. We did a lot of coastal walks a got the bus back, brilliant week .
