Kirkgate cottage
Publié le 27 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis delightful cottage was perfect for us. We loved the quiet location and felt very relaxed as soon as we arrived. All the rooms were spotless and very tastefully decorated with some lovely pieces of local art. Also very close to nice cafes, restaurants and shops.

Cosy cottage
Publié le 26 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely cottage, modern fittings and original features blended well. Well equipped and a convenient location. Shame the galleries in the village weren’t open as it was out of season and limited eating out options. Local people friendly and helpful. Would go again

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and glad you enjoyed the cottage. Hope you tried The Dory Bistró at the harbour. A lot of great food places around in the other nearby villages and three restaurants/pubs in Pittenweem as well as a couple of cafes. Definitely worth a trip during the Art Festival if you love art.

Pleasant little spot
Publié le 11 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayFirst time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us).

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review Bruce and sorry that you found it difficult to light the fire. The instructions on how the heating works is in the information I sent to you before your stay. Just turn not push the thermostat in the hall.

Lovely Pittenweem

The Kirkgate Cottage is right around the corner from High Street, just a few steps to two cafes, two pubs, an upscale restaurant, pharmacy/grocery and several art galleries. It's a perfect location for walking the Fife Coastal Path or catching a bus.
