The hotel rooms did not have a fridge, microwave, iron / ironing board. The rooms did not have complimentary toiletries. The hotel did not have parking

Stayed for one night on a motorcycle trip. Kindly allowed us to put 2 bikes in one space and they were out of sight so happy to pay for this. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the main centre, if you walk in the right direction !!! The one thing I was concerned about was in the morning there were 2 youngsters lying in one of the corridors, charging their phones from a socket on the wall. Now I have no idea if they were guests but why would you lay in the corridor if you had paid for a bed.

Staff need training

It is wholly unhelpful to have a shift change over at the same time as check-in opens. You do not have to be a genius to work that out. We arrived a few minutes before check-in and were asked to take a seat and wait. A group of people enter immediately after us and we're checked strait in. Tables in the reception area remained littered in rubbish for several hours. The facilities are good but the staff not great.
