The apartment was a big disappointment, which in no way lived up to our expectations. The bed and sofa bed were disgusting and stained. The oven did not work and there was not all the furniture shown in the picture. Hotels.com was unable to get in touch with the landlord, so we were forced to cut short our trip after just one night. Smartflats has refused to refund money for the last nights as they say the pictures represent a range of apartments. In other words, do NOT expect to get the apartment shown in the picture, but a very boring sad and poorly furnished apartment with stained beds and sofa.

Horrible smell. Don't rent if you love yourself

The down stairs, hallway and lift smells like sewage. I have never smelled anything that bad all my life. It is horrible to subject anyone to such offensive odour.

Limpio y cómodo, pero en una zona no muy segura.

Apartamento cómodo, limpio, renovado y cercano a bares y restaurantes. En Centro está cerca paseando. La zona no es muy segura y se oye ruido hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Personas dentro del portal drogándose y la puerta del ascensor no funcionaba, al igual que el wifi, el calefactor del baño y el código para coger las llaves.

We could not get into the apartment due to issues with the access code. It did not work at at all after multiple tries in different ways. The person on the phone asked us to try different codes which did not work as well. She said there was no technician on duty. She could not transfer us to a manager. She asked to cancel the reservation and go find another hotel. We ended up walking up to another hotel and accepting their walk-in price. This is just so not acceptable. I would not want anyone else to go through this situation again. It was a painful experience to say the least.

Nice apartment, but not responsible communication

I am satisfied with the apartment, but not happy with a couple things: 1. There is no reception for this apartment. The owner first said the check in code would be sent to me 7 days before we arrive. I sent an email / website message to follow up 7 days ahead, no response. I sent another email / website message 2 days before, no response, i sent an email / message one day before, still no response. So ignoring me. The day i arrived, we were locked out, i tried to call them with our Canada cell phone, each time whatever # i choose, the call was stopped, for a few times, so i had to go to the restaurant next to it asking for help, finally got the code to enter, but they didn't tell me the wifi password, so i had to go to the restaurant again to get that info. Altogether it wasted us about an hour, with some international calls, and the tips to the restaurant staff, to stay in the apartment. That really sucks. 2. There is very strong and disgusting smell in the elevator, stair, and a bit in the lobby.
