This is an unstaffed house with upto 20 or more staying. Not what I thought we were booking at all. No check in information given. We were left to find the property which doesn't appear on google maps in the dark when we arrived no one was there. The phone number on the door was disconnected and when I rang the number on the booking site it Rang out three times before someone answered. She couldn't find our booking to begin with but then said she would send us check in information which was just a photo of the house with an arrow pointing to a door. We opened that door to find a room that has been packed in with furniture. A lounge and two double beds all pushed up against each other. It was filthy, linen stained, mould in bathroom. I thought we were paying a bit more for something a bit nicer and private might as well have stayed at the back packers

We didn't get the room we paid for. In the ad, the bathroom had a tub. After checking in , everything was different. Also, we sent an email regarding our late check in and no one responded to it. Very poor customer service. The room was entirely different from what was shown in the ad.

Not recomended for price - needs a big clean.

This is a great location. 2 minutes from town Kangaroo just outside the balcony. Unfortunately the cleanliness is less than desirable. Mounds of dust and garbage under the beds. A pile of bird fecies on the balcony. Sad as its base set up is ideal, just needs a thorough cleaning. Sent these photos below to Management. Response - "well thats why we are cheaper than others"

Door to common area broken, and could not be locked. No key provided to external door. Old pizza box with food still inside left in drawer. No glasses or cups provided, making hygienic use of water from bathroom impossible. No tea, coffee or milk provided. Television in room not connected to any signal, so not working. Spa room for 4, but only enough hot water for one fill of spa, and no hot water following morning. Initial booking for 3 adults initially accepted, but later advised that room fitted only 2 adults, and replacement room required $100 upgrade.

There could be some wine or alcohol in a freezer in room paid of course and no food in kitchen otherwise it was great

Disappointed

Booked a room for two adults and a 6yo child. On arrival the room only had one bed, two pillows and two towels. Called the owner to get a roll away bed and was told that’s all they had! Room had broken bed side tables. Dirty sock in bathroom. Dripping taps with jugs collecting the drips. Just lacked maintenance, pity because it has a really great view.

The views were lovely however we feel it was overpriced as we we had no kitchen facilities, no toiletries, no hand towels, no floor mat.

The view was amazing. Sunrise, kangeroos, night view, all exceptional.
