Welcome to Casa Rio Del Mar! This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is perfectly situated in the heart of Rio Del Mar, Aptos. Just four houses from the beach path, it's less than a 5-minute walk to the stunning Rio Del Mar Beach. Enjoy a scenic 10-15 minute stroll to the Esplanade, where you can find great spots for lunch, dinner, or a beautiful sunset beach walk.

Upon entering Casa Rio Del Mar, you'll be greeted by a dramatic two-story entrance, filling the space with natural light and a welcoming atmosphere. The downstairs area features an open and spacious living room and dining area, seamlessly connected to the kitchen. This level also includes two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed, and a shared bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The garage provides parking and houses the washer and dryer.

The highlight of the home is the expansive Great Room upstairs—a versatile Family/Entertainment area designed for comfort and enjoyment. This massive space includes a Smart TV, a secondary kitchen with a bar, a wood-burning fireplace, and ample seating for family and friends. The room extends to a deck equipped with a grill and outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco.

The upstairs also hosts the Master Bedroom, featuring a luxurious king-sized bed and a private terrace, along with the Master Bathroom, providing a serene and private retreat.

Great place to stay
Had a fantastic stay at 202 Kenneth. Walk-able (about 1/2 mile) to hidden beach park and a dog friendly beach. Beautiful path a block away to go steeply down to the beach. Very nicely appointed house. Good kitchen; small, but very functional. House was clean and orderly. Would recommend this spot for families to share.

Gorgeous neighborhood, great for two couples
This two story home is in a great location. The second floor is almost self sufficient with a large living area and a mini kitchen. We were tortured by ants! I think an exterminator is in order. While there, there were issues with the upstairs toilet. A plumber was sent to no avail. The upstairs people had to use buckets to flush the toilet. We told the management company and they told us it would be dealt with after we checked out. The shower pressure downstairs was nonexistent. This may be considered being too picky, but, I really like a good cup of hot coffee. The downstairs coffee pot repeatedly produced weak lukewarm coffee no matter how much grounds we put in. The pot did not have an automatic shutoff- haven’t seen that in a long time. We didn’t know, and left it on by mistake. THERE IS SOME outdoor space but not much. Not really set up to be inviting or useful. all that being said, the price was good for that location. It doesn’t get any better than that neighborhood on the cliff while we were there. There was a giant art festival and we got to visit for artist studios right in the neighborhood. 4 old farts had a great time.

Great location. Great house in a quite neighborhood. Perfect for my needs and will rent once a yr when my inlaws are in town. Please see if there is an issue with the dishwasher, I didn't use it but this year and last year it beeps every 5min and I dont know how to turn it off.

Large comfortable home on bluff above beach
Very clean. Nice neighborhood for walking. Very comfortable beds. Convenient to have washer-dryer and space for three cars. Trail to beach is close by but challenging with young children and beach gear. Comfortable living room and upstairs great room, with plexiglass on upper railing for child safety. Pellet BBQ and outdoor table on level above kitchen was a bit challenging. Kitchen very poorly stocked—few bowls, glasses, and pots and pans; we ended up buying paper plates rather than using the heavy plates. Prefer beach level location.

Perfect Getaway
Home was perfect for a family vacation. Plenty of room to spread out. Upstairs family room was spacious. A short walk to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. My 4 year old grandson was in his glory. His last words as we were leaving: “I’m going to miss this place!”

Fabulous Aptos vacation
We had a wonderful holiday in Aptos with our family of 3 young men. The location is very close to the beach and the house had plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Plenty of seating and one giant TV that allowed for fun family movie nights. Will return again next year!

Great location, clean quiet block from beach etc. Couple things in kitchen did not work, garbage disposal, couple burners on stove and no chips for electric grill which you need. Remember to bring in garbage bags, ziplocks, etc if cooking. Overall was really nice!

this is a spacious clean and bright home perfect for us and our friends with young children. close to the beach and nisene marks.. 2 kitchens is a great idea but they are sparsely appointed. plenty of plates, but bring your own cooking supplies and salt, pepper, spices, oil, if you wanna really use them.

Aptos family time
We really appreciated the amenities not only the great smelling sheets and towels, but the kitchen supplies and things special for COVID19 (masks, sanitizer, etc.). Mostly loved finding such a special place to get out of the Bay Area and to the beach for the weekend away. Grocery shopping nearby. Plenty of kitchen gadgets, wine glasses and a wonderful barbeque. Tons of things for the kids to play with, books and the TV/internet situation was turn key and ready to go. So great after a long drive with toddlers to get there! Small things for the older set is that that main living space is upstairs so get your steps in. The garden area is very well taken care of. Maybe in the summer there will be a dining set on the porch upstairs. The walkway to the beach is rather washed out so we went down to the beach, but then sent the younger ones back for the car to come and get us. Nice walk down and back to the Pixie market for a beer and visit with friends outdoors. Restrooms on the beach at Rio Del Mar great as local restaurant restrooms are still closed. House and layout was perfect for our family and more bedding than we expected. Beach chairs in the closet. Tons of beach towels and a bag of firewood for one night in the upstairs loft was appreciated. We also used the gas fireplace downstairs. 2 fully stocked kitchens and a bar area that seats 7-8 upstairs. We used the washer and dryer and had soap pods for it and both of the dishwashers. Hope to be able to spend a week there again in the summer.

Fantastic stay in Aptos home near beach
Roomy, warm house just a 5 mins walk from our favorite beach in Aptos. We stayed here with our 4 children and had plenty of room, lots of peace and quiet, modern amenities (Netflix, etc) and just a short walk to a beautiful (and doggy friendly) beach. Would love to stay here again!

The house is great for getting together with family, it has a neat set up with two kitchens. It is definitely a short walk to the beach down a path, only takes about 5 minutes. The path is a bit steep but we took a double stoller down Property manager was great, answered questions I had and was very understanding when we were a little late to leave after a car problem.

Comfy Get Away
Great location! Short 5-10 minute walk to the beach! Our group of 8 slept very comfortably in this large house. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and linen if we needed extras. We loved the open floor plan and that there were two separate living areas and the additional kitchen upstairs. The house had a lot of natural light which was really nice. The only complaint we have was that we wish there were nonstick pans as it was difficult cooking some meals since they kept sticking to the pans. Other than that, we had a great time and wish we could have extended our stay longer. Even the little fur babies we brought enjoyed their stay.
