Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again. Moved back to California from Chicago and this definitely helped me remember why I came back home.

Bach Drive Experience
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is wonderful and the beach as well. Parking on the street can be challenging especially on the weekends if you have more than one car in your group.
Th three floors gives you a lot of options for your group when you have kids and adults.
There were ants in the first floor and second floor guest bedroom on the headboard of the bed. This freaked out my adult daughter as she hates ants.
All in all, it is a great property in a wonderful location.

SPECTACULAR LOCATION & HOME
Publié le 20 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home is beautiful & a great location. Easy to access the beach, restaurants, convenience store and just 4 miles from a Safeway. The bedrooms are on the 2nd & 3rd floors, so you'll need to be able to use stairs. The ground floor patio and decks on floor 2 & 3 provide spectacular views right on the ocean. There is a hose to rinse off sand from the beach but you need to go through the house to access it.
The home next door is boarded up because of storm damage, however it does not distract from the beauty of this home. Relax & enjoy the beach in this home.

Well Functioning House

Bathrooms are good sized. Both rooms with balconies have a beautiful view.
Location is KEY! Excellent stay!

Beach Front Family Fun
Publié le 23 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayFrom the moment we stepped inside this cozy beach front home, we were captivated by the breathtaking view of the beach and ocean. As we ventured upstairs, the view only became more spectacular. It was the perfect setting for our family of 10, providing ample space and all the amenities we could ask for. The location is only a short walk to the deli, restaurants and coffee shop which was nice.
But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the moments we spent on the back patio. We were fortunate enough to witness not just one, but two Humpback Whales, including a baby, as well as a playful pod of Dolphins. The proximity of these majestic creatures left us in awe, and we didn't even need binoculars to appreciate their beauty.
Thank you Jaleh, for your exceptional customer service as our Property Manager. Your responsiveness exceeded our expectations. Your dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction did not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for all that you did for us.
We can't wait to return.

Beach Stay

The house looked better in the photos and some of the furniture pictured was missing. Two balconies off the two bedrooms with ocean views were great. It would have been even better if they had chairs to sit at for morning coffee. The pictures show chairs on the balconies and that was a draw to me for booking so I was disappointed when the chairs were missing. Was not comfortable to sit on the balcony without them.
The property is a little run down and with the recent storms, many of the close by homes were boarded up. The property to the side of us was a disaster with boarded up windows and debris all over the place. Not pleasant to look at. The property on the other side had unsightly ’no trespassing’ signs everywhere with warnings not to cross over the boarder between patios (even though there is a city ordinance stating there must be a thruway walking path along the beach side).
The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nice with plenty of towels. We had plenty of room for our family.
The kitchen was well stocked and great to cook in.
All in all we had a great time. And spent time sitting on the beach which is steps outside the back door. We loved that!

I’m sorry to hear that there was disappointment during your stay. The guest right before had moved the balcony chairs all down to the ground level patio. We have now moved them all back up to the balconies.
Unfortunately, we don’t have control over neighbors properties, but we keep our home professionally cleaned and routinely clean our outside patio.

Great place!
Publié le 15 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was great with incredible views. I had to do some work on the trip so using the desk on the top floor, facing right out to the ocean was fantastic. We were able to park right outside the front door, which was nice. there were a few small eateries walkable and a ton of options within a short drive. The kitchen was well stocked and we even had a welcome bottle of local wine. Beautiful bathrooms and lots of beds. Decor, patio furniture, etc. was all just as described in the pictures. A lounger or 2 on the patio would be a nice addition.
My only complaint is for this price point, you really should be able to access the beach directly from your patio. They explained this clearly in the listing so I wasn't surprised, but I did notice that that some neighbors had steps through the rock wall directly to the beach so hopefully that is something the owners will consider in the future. But it wasn't hard to just go out to the street side and walk around the building to get to the beach.
Overall, a very nice place with a 5 star view!
