Cottage in the Woods

If you are planning on staying here, you really need to bring cookware, and something to cook on. I did see outdoor grills but no pans or pots in cabin.

I’m so sorry Dave your stay with us wasn’t a 5star. A week before you checked in, you contacted me about pots and pans. I informed you this cabin only has a kitchenette with microwave(which is also stated in my amenities list that you can view before booking)So there is no pots and pans. I also offered to switch you to another cabin at no extra cost that has a full kitchen, which you never responded. If you had, I would have definitely switched you to a cabin more suitable for your stay.

Elephant Rock and Water falls

October trip
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was very nice and clean. It was smaller than I expected, but I'm sure it was represented correctly. The TV was in the bedroom and we would have preferred it in the living area, but there really wasn't room there. I really liked the air conditioner/heater! We used both. All and all, I would recommend staying there and we may again. Very convenient location if you're planning on Elephant Rock state park.

State Parks vacation

The trails on the property were very nice, it was very easy to get into nature, we saw a bobcat, some deer and lots of squirrels. I’m definitely staying there in the future.

Fun cottage on a great piece of property.
Publié le 31 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWell kept cottages and cabins. Property has sweeping views of the surrounding Ozark Mountains and hiking opportunities right on site. Very relaxing two night stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and picturesque

This place is close to many state parks but I enjoyed the hiking on the property so much I spent the day there instead of venturing out. There are restaurants and grocery nearby. The host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. Overall a great little retreat!
